Hello, lovely beings!

I have discovered the DMT Nexus two years ago, I think. Since this is an introduction essay, I will discuss about how I got here, although I don't really know what "here" is. My level of surprise is slowly increasing ever since the moment when the depth of this community really struck me.

My first experience with psychedelics was in high school, I was 17 years old. What led me to attempt LSD at that time, was the absolutely incredible trip reports of adventurers. They were describing something that was completely out of my cultural black hole, and so extraordinary that I was just shocked that everyone on the streets is not laughing their ass off and having a good time.

This shock, however, materialized into profound insights and knowledge about spirituality, Buddhism, ancient languages, ancient culture, shamanism, psychology, neurochemistry, and just different opinions about what is the human experience.

Learning this information has greatly improved my life, but what has helped me most is not the intellectual achievement, it is the direct contact with the experience of that information, through psychedelics.

When I first tried LSD, even with all the prior reading, I was completely taken by surprise. This was another world, not a world you escape to, but a world completely stable in its structure, connected to ours, as real as ours, yet somewhere else.

After my initial discovery of LSD, I continued to search for rare occasions when the circumstances & settings allowed me to experiment more. Slowly, I have become more independent and am happy to finally start pursuing this curiosity with as much time and attention as it needs. I stopped counting my LSD trips, but I think it's about 15. They were all deeply profound and spiritual. Some time after the 2nd trip, I have discovered Terence McKenna whose work served as a great bridge into the larger community of psychedelic adventurers.

My personal opinion / belief, is that there can be nothing more astounding and fascinating than consciousness, or the states it can generate. I feel this so strongly that it's easy to forget that some people might not feel the same way. Laughing

And of course, that is a very difficult subject to talk about, so I'm glad that you guys are here and have built this community. I know quite a few people who have tried psychedelics/entheogens in the past, yet I can not explain to myself how not one of them shares my interest with as much enthusiasm as I have for for them. thank you all Smile Love

Welcome!! Wonderful to see yet another kindred soul. Wish I had found what you did at such a youthful age (I'm an old fart, but it's never too late!)
I think many folks like you in the younger generations are advanced souls gracious enough to return to try and help this crazy world

Thank you very much <3
Really glad to be here. Your words are very kind. I believe we are all brothers and sisters, regardless of age. We all have a role of the same importance while we still draw our breaths.
