So SWIM ordered a good deal of rootbark from 100herbgalaxy, a source which has received a good deal of praise from some very respected members of this board...........

He followed Noman's tek........here is what SWIM did on a 200g MHRB Extraction

1)Dissolved 200g of 100% lye into 2500 ML of filtered water
2)Added 200g of MHRB powder, allowed rootbark to soak for about an hour, according to instructions
3)Added 400 ML of VM & P naptha (SWIM's container was very wide, so used more naptha to make it easier to draw off)
4)Allowed mix to sit for 24 hours, agitating periodically by turning jar end over end and allowing mix to seperate
5)Drew off naptha with a turkey baster and placed into flat glass pyrex dish w/ lid and placed in freezer
6)Next morning was greeted with what at first look seemed to be a pretty good deal of white spice. Poured naptha off and through a coffee filter to get any extract which was floating in naptha.

Yield of first pull was roughly 0.3g. SWIM thought, Ok so maybe the first pull wont come out to a great yield. So SWIM added another 400 ML of naptha and allowed to sit for 24 hrs........Used same method...Next day, did not see hardly ANY spice in dish, maybe 10mg MAX.

Tried to do another pull using less naptha...and alas, very very very minimal yield.

What the hell did SWIM do wrong? Also, the spice which was yielded did not seem to be very potent...Definately threshhold effects, but not even close to previous DMT experiences........

Not sure what happened because the procedure you describe will work and if you are 100% telling it like it is you got BUNK BARK you should confirm this with a experiment.

Low Yield with good tek = bunk bark

You should do three pulls then report yield.
first pull is always big and clean
in comparison to following pulls.

Try again with same amount and see what happens

Any outcome is still beneficial yes?

You got your self some spice thats the main point

Try again if possible and post results.

I am happy that you have succeeded in you quest of spice extraction

My hypothesis using data given
Bad Bark.

first extraction best wishes

Could be bunk bark, could be that the spice is in the NP, but it just didn't precip because it's not concentrated enough, the freezer isn't cold enough, or a combination of the two.
Try evaporating the NP down to a quarter of the original volume, make sure that the freezer is really cold - as in you can barely stick a spoon into a carton of ice cream, let alone scoop it - and freeze precip again.
Don't throw anything away.
BTW - what kind of naptha, and what kind of agitation did you use?

^I used VM & P naptha..... I attempted to do a dry evap first on my third pull, and saw a minimal amount of orange "droplets" in bottom of tray

Thank you for your responses

Only variation i can think of that I used slightly less water than the 15ml:1g ratio and that I used a trey instead of multiple jars. Also I let solution sit for 24 hrs which is not called for but I only thought longer = better?

Would the fact I used double naptha have any effect?

yes. since you used so much, i recommend you switch your mhrb soup to a long thiner container, so that you can use less naptha and don't have to evap it off(or salvage it if someone can post how to do that). when there is so smuch naptha, theres a lower concentration of dmt > cannot form crystals but remains in the naptha. less naptha you use, the better...and make sure it gets nice and mixed in(but dont shake vigoursly because then emulsions occur and lye in spice = no thanks.

much luck

Thanks for responses everyone........ I am doing another run on a 100g extraction and will post my results.

I really hope this isnt bunk bark..... I guess 2 lbs for $99 could be too good of a deal to be true

Thats a good dealLaughing Havent ordered any in a bit got a lb of Primo MHRB in the freeze and just pulled a solid .7% for my 3year old Desmanthus illinoensis patch got many grams of nice spice and took out about a third of the patch. It is a excellent plant to grow it makes the soil more fertile by fixing nitrogen and requires no care at all.

Once the MHRB craze began many are selling it and soon it may be illegal. Will that effect me no. Make your self immune to the powers that be and the market forces that seem to dominate your everyday life. Take responsibility grow your own!!

In the mean time you may enjoy the cheap MHRB because mark my wordsLaughing
prices will be a dropping!

So another thing i can throw out there..........SWIM didnt use different containers for his naptha on the second try, rather he put a pull in a trey, set it out to evaporate, and added a couple more pulls to the same tray to evaporate before he put in freezer. could this have any effect on yield???

nah, that's fine to mix them IMO

I think you should try heating the naptha, personally

Good luck, though I did have some nasty Mexican bark that gave me no more than .2 % yield.
Q21Q21's Tek: A comprehensive guide to extracting DMT
The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

I am almost never on this site anymore so I will likely not answer PMs

this will make it turn into DMT N-oxide, which although many enjoy it, the yellow goo can be messy and hard to dose.
you may have to do something like seperating pull 1 into A & B since you're use so much naptha.
If you don't want to move it into a different longer thinner container(which is your best bet)
