So I've finally got some spice and vaporized it two times along with some cannabis - in particular through a convection vaporizer. The first time I smoked/vaped - which was 10mg - I noticed that after the first hit, absolutely none of the spice remained, but the remaining constitutes of the bowl - the cannabis - thereafter takes on the taste that I associate with the spice. I also experienced this my second time vaporizing a bit higher dosage; all of the spice vanished after smoking it, but the remaining cannabis still tastes like spice/DMT. Is this normal?

Yes. It's normal.

the DMT reaches a liquid state before vaporizing and it absorbs into the surrounding plant matter.
