So for my first post, and as my intro, I posted a long trip report. It seems I should give at least a little bit of background on myself. In regards to dmt, I have blasted off maybe around 10 times (each a breakthrough). I am in love with psychedelics and consider myself a practicing mystic and psychonaut. I currently have a degree in philosophy and will be pursuing my bachelors in nursing before getting my masters in philosophy. For me philosophy runs the gamut on studies, so nothing is off limits and I study all I can (sciences, languages, math, etc.). I am a personal trainer and am big on health and wellness. I had perused this site for a while before joining, and after five months I have finally decided to contribute. I've never posted on any forums before and wanted to make sure that I was adding value to the community. Now I'm sitting here, staring at the screen, feeling like there's more I'd like to add but am not sure where to start so just ask! One love. What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves. Hey Voidmatrix! Since you asked, here are some questions for you: How did you get turned on to psychedelics? What do you think about spirituality, consciousness, "God" etc? Do you think that the state entered into on psychedelics is real, or just brain chemistry? JustAnotherHuman is a fictional character. Everything said by this character should be regarded as completely fabricated.

Hey JustAnotherHuman I was introduced to psychedelics during my sophmore year of college. I had already been avidly into spirituality, religions and philosophy, and had heard many times about the type enlightening experiences one can have on psychedelics. Since my very first trip I have been a psychonaut. The first time was a mushroom trip. I ate about 7 grams with a friend and we went to see Avatar in 3D...ridiculous I know, but for me it was a perfect first trip and that movie was more than appropriate (given all the references about spirituality and unity with nature etc.). Since that night it has been a priority of mine to further broaden and develop myself. I also work on inducing psychedelic experiences during meditation and other activities that necessitate focus. So, I'm not sure where to start on your next question, as I have a lot of thoughts on these topics, and many of those thoughts are enigmatic and complicated, however I will do my best with brevity as to not take too much of your time. I feel that I am inherently a spiritual person. I'm learning code because I find it to be a spiritual exercise (kinda random). I look to feel my soul in most things that I do. My spirituality is what leads me to practice and study mysticism from many different cultures. I feel through spirituality we truly find ourselves. As for consciousness, it is the most mysterious thing about us, seeing as we have yet to have an empirical explaination for it. Philosophically, there are parts of my views that express dualism. I think that our consciousness is a non-material, and non-physical part of our being that actually extends beyond this "reality." And as for God, I have experiences with what seems to be "God," and it seems that it is something we can experience but is too vast and constantly changing for our limited language and senses to be able to pinpoint and prescribe parameters for. I think that the state that we enter becomes real due to the chemical reactions and allow us to touch something we are otherwise barred from by the physical confines of our "waking" reality. I feel that our mind is harbored in the space between the synapses of our brain and functions in the brain as I am with my computer now. Thanks for your questions! I hope you enjoy. How would you amswer those questions? What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves. Thanks for sharing Voidmatrix! I enjoyed reading your thoughts. Well, my answer to the questions would be this: When it comes to psychedelics and when I got "turned on" to them, there isn't a specific moment I can point to. A while back, I started exploring different things, psychedelics included. With regards to spirituality, consciousness, God etc, my view on this is: I believe in the Source. The Void. The All. This type of thing. I believe in the interconnectedness of all things. As for consciousness, I think that consciousness is the primary force of the universe, the force that animates it. I like to think of it as the electricity that powers the human machine. And everything else, really. As to whether the state induced by psychedelics is real or not, my opinion is that it is real. I think psychedelics "retune the receiver wavelength of consciousness" as Graham Hancock so aptly puts it. Through this, they allow our consciousness to change its vibrational frequency and thereby enter alternate dimensions of reality. This is what I think. JustAnotherHuman is a fictional character. Everything said by this character should be regarded as completely fabricated.

JustAnotherHuman Beautifully put my friend! Do you study any sacred geometry? I'm assuming so by your response and profile pic lol. Anyway we don't seem so different in our thoughts, seeing as how you put things can definitely be applied in different ways to how I think. And I find that beautiful. Thank you my friend One love What if the "truth" is: the "truth" is indescernible/unknowable/nonexistent? Then the closest we get is through being true to and with ourselves. Thank you my friend One love The term we use here is "avatar" , not profile pic, FYI. I don't actually study sacred geometry per se, it's just something that I'm interested in. I find it fascinating. I'm glad you found what I said interesting! JustAnotherHuman is a fictional character. Everything said by this character should be regarded as completely fabricated.
