my last two experiences envolved a new twist that i'm a bit worried about. let me explain

coming down from the trip my mind is a jumble of crazy overlapping words . A stream of conciousness flow of funny dissjointed words.
words on top of words that are hilarious and make me laugh out loud I have no real control of it. The worrysome part is that it interferes with my normal thought patterns and causes my thoughts to get jumbled. Now it does NOT come out of my mouth I tested myself and was able to talk totally normal and coherent while this is going on in my mind. Eventually it goes away but seems to hold strong for a while after the intitial come down from the trip. I have never had this happen ever before this. I've never had spice tamper with my language center this extreme before. There is a moment where i think to myself " wow this is what it feels like to be totally insane" now the trips are going in a different direction lately they are very very intense introspective journeys that are deeply personal as apposed to full breakthrough travel. they really feel like courting with the edge of insanity. even though the days that follow seems to be filled with amazing insight and clarity on all levels.
maybe i need to clean my spice . there is an overtone of jungle-ness more like the intensity of a salvia club to the head . maybe thats the problem.

has anyone ever had this word jumble thing happen?

I think this Speaking/Thinking in Tongues Phenomenon is quite common with Psychedelics.

Ever wondered how a newborn Child might perceive its sourroundings ?
They also seem to find the perception of Language very very Funny .

Some would interpret this as a regression to an earlier stage of Cognitive development -
Some kind of Near-Birth Experience

I have often heard strange languages. I heard voices saying words i didn't know. On one ocassion, i just knew it where obscenities, even while i couldn't understand any of it.

On my last psychedelic journey (wich was an ayahuasca mushroom combo)i had lost the ability to speak completely, for about 7 to 8 hours.

I think that part of the mind that makes the connections between words and what they mean is completely overloaded. There is always a sort of 'hook'/ 'lead'/'entry' that ensures this connection, but sometimes there are just too many of these 'hooks'.

A good example of what i mean is names. And a good example of what i mean with names would be the name of the actor dennis hopper. When i'm on psychedelics, then i could started to get overloaded with all possible synonims of 'hopping' or words that are somehow related, if i would want to find his name: jumping, moving, popping, flipping, beer-ingredient, chopping, flopping, topping, copper, hiphop, hacking, etc.

You end up with impossible word combinations, eventually.

IF you'd watched that video about Jill Bolte Taylors stroke experience, you'd know that the left hemisphere of the brain processes language. It thinks in words, and is the little voice always chattering in your head. But the right hemisphere thinks in pictures.

Clearly, something is scrambling the normal functioning of a part of your brain.

that Jill Bolte Taylors account was very moving thank you for mentioning that . I think i'm in a fragile emotional state, the last spice journey really kicked my ass hard.
I sometimes worry about the stress on the brain with DMT. Its so powerful sometimes I can't help but wonder about the long term strain on your brain circuitry . Everything i read says there is no know problems associated with it but i wonder sometimes. This last time was the first moment in my history of spice where I really started to think ok maybe you need to step back for a minute and examine this. the jumbled language was funny but a little too close to home. It would be a terrible state to be in more than a few minutes. it would be very difficult to function in society with a constant stream of unstoppable crazy words flowing endlessly from some unknown source in your brain.

I get your feeling . Constant giggly Self Hypnosis wouldnt be too compatible with usual everyday life -
Just like every other Aspect of being on powerful Psychedelic Drugs .

The Phenomenon is not seen as a Psychopathological One , should theoretically be nothing to be afraid of.


All Spiritual Practices even Meditation carry certain Risks of Getting into a longer lasting crisis - which in most cases finally leads to Spiritual or Psychological Progress.

Ask the Right Questions - at the Right Places

If you're not speaking some futuristic alien language
chances are it's just your central nervous system defragmenting itself.
They even teach this in some forms of yoga like kundalini for example.
Essentially it's gibberish and it's damn good for you.

I get this with all psychedelcs..and it actually feels good ..seems to happen along with strong euphoria.

I think for the first time i'm truly letting my self go into the experience fully. I've always considered myself to be a psychonaut of the first order. Spice has humbled me in ways i never thought possible. The power of the stuff is profound. complete expansion of consciousness to the hundreth power. Imagine if there was a way to record the experience and play it back in all its detail. Sometimes it feels like one lifetime is not enough time to fully grasp the magnitude of what these experiences are about. I stand in awe every single time.
