Try setting it in a heat bath, and leaving it alone for a day. By adding and mixing each time, one hasn't let the emulsion begin to break up. At first, not enough lye or water was used, and it may take a bit longer for the lye to break down fully, when adding it to MHRB sludge. SWIM has noticed that this can create hot spots in the jug, when adding the lye after the MHRB and lye water are mixed. If one sets it in a heat bath, and continues to leave it sit, it should separate, although it could take overnight, even. By shaking it very hard, it can create air bubbles that take a long time to break up, but rest assured, if you leave it alone in a heat bath, it will eventually separate. Also, in a larger container, 150 mls of naphtha is barely noticeable on the top. With the added naphtha, it should separate, but it may just take a long time. The amount of water recommended in Noman's tek for 227g of MHRB (or .5 lbs) would be 3405 mls or at least 3L. SWIM has gotten away with much less, but some powdered bark is sludgy, and if the soultion is too thick, it will take an extremely long time to separate, but it will if left long enough, and always remember, every reaction happens faster with heat.
