Hi all. I've been working to do my research for some time. I've acquired Caapi and mimosa and was able to do an extraction. Although the resulting materials were lost for reasons I won't go into right now. Anyway, at the current time I am unable to get more lye and all I have left of the herbs are the 50-60 grams of mimosa and 200 or so grams (no I didn't have access to a scale) of Caapi that I put in an everclear soak a couple weeks ago. Actually I've already poured this out and evaporated it and have a very rich, dark looking powder. Nothing had been done except alcohol soak extracted and evap. From what I've read, ingesting this material as is well likely be very hard on the digestive system due to the high tannin content of MHRB. my question is this;
Just how hard would it be on the stomach and what can i do without doing an stb, to clean it up and make it more tolerable?
I had originally planned on doing an stb or other extraction, but things have changed and my resources have become greatly restricted.
I do have access to vinegar, which seems like a vinegar water soak and settle type technique seems to perhaps be my best (if not only) option.
Any thoughts... suggestions?
