Hi Nexians!

I just wanted to talk about an idea that I've been playing around with in my mind for some time now. That is, the idea of the Earth and the Sun being living entities that work in tandem to sustain life. I picked up this idea after watching a Spirit Science video on YouTube. Now I know that this is a pretty far-out idea, and I'm also well aware that there's no scientific basis for it, however, it's an idea that I like to entertain in my own mind. The more I think about it, the more it resonates with me.

I think of it like this: We have Mother Earth on the one hand, which nurtures and sustains life by providing the perfect conditions for life. The atmosphere giving oxygen, the ozone layer, the protection from meteors, solar radiation etc. Then, we have Father Sun, which provides its wonderful rays to bring heat and light to the Earth to allow life to flourish.

This idea is echoed in ancient cultures. They speak of the Earth as a female entity, a goddess and the Sun as a male, a god.

What is your guys' opinion on this? Do you share my sentiments, or do you disagree? Please share your thoughts!

When we call our genetical parents Father and Mother, those words also merely represent a concept, that includes certain attributions towards the person named that way. Also it implies a certain relationship between the caller and the named.

The usual concepts subscribed to father and mother can be mostly well applied to our relationship to the sun and the earth. It certainly is an interesting way to look at the world. Also it is a useful one, because the classic parent concept also implies that they should be treated with respect. One can see, why some cultures would want to adept such way of thinking.

Hes a Priest in an ancient Inca tradition that is worhsipping the sun as a living being. Part of his job is to transmute messages that he claims to be receiving from the sun.

I really enjoyed watching that video you linked. Everything that priest said resonates with me. We know that the Incas worshipped the Sun, and they were a very successful civilisation.

When it comes to Gnosticism, it's a philosophy that also resonates with me. They talk about the Demiurge and Archons, which, I think, is a good way of explaining the current condition of world society today. They also say that the primary purpose of humans is to achieve gnosis, to awaken the Divine Spark within themselves. I agree with this notion wholeheartedly.
