A friend of mine came around yesterday. He had a little package filled with 500mg freebase and 500mg of herbs. Don't ask me bout that ratio. Now the first problem is that the herbs are pulverized. So in fact it looks like something nasty dark to sniff. The second problem is that the freebase and the herbs have never been married and melted together. So it's simply freebase thrown in bag with herbs. He gave it to me and said do what you can. So now my plan would be to Mix some water with sodium carbonite. Then mixing it with his weird stuff. After mixing i wanted to pour some naphta in. Separate it and freeze the naphta.
Would that work ? If yes...How much naphta and how much water SC Mix should i take ?

Theoretically it would work.. but how well?

You might run into some problems, like if the plant material got caught in the naphtha and you couldn't separate well.. and i imagine that the freebase was crystallized so it won't melt (or be fine particles in SC solution(like it would be in a normal extraction) so it wouldn't migrate to the naphtha so easily, so keep it in a hot water bath and let the naphtha sit in freshly boiled water before adding it, do few pulls...

To prepare the SC solution saturate some SC in 100 ml of water, filter, mix a minimale amount of it with herbs in a jar like just twice the volume of the herbs, leave for 2 hours until the herbs are soaked, put it in a heat bath, add hot naphtha(same volume as the SC solution used ), swirl for 10 mins, pull, do 3 pulls, evap 2/3 of it and do freez precipitation...

Bcz of small details and some problems that i think might happen if you go that way, personally i would work in a different way, but you might not want to do that..

I would soak with minimal anmount of hot vinegar and press it through a very fine metalic strainer 3x
Base and pull..

Or soak with hot ethanol press through metallic strainer 3x evap most of it add herb add make changa..

If you feel this could be better then i can explain in details what i would do

Why would you want to add water and sodium carbonate to it? It's already a freebase, right? I would dissolve the dmt freebase into hot naphtha, filter and freeze.

Try this:

- Boil water for a hot water bath.
- Heat two portions of 25 ml naphtha in the hot water bath.
- Put the dmt + herb in the first 25 ml of hot naphtha and stir well. Keep it warm in the hot water bath and stir for 15 more minutes.
- Prepare a (preferably glass or metal) funnel with a ball of cotton in the stem.
- Pour the first portion of hot naphtha with the herbs and dissolved dmt into the funnel.
- When the naphtha has run through the cotton in the funnel, gradually pour the second portion of hot naphtha over the herb that remains on the cotton ball in the funnel.
- Evaporate at least half of the dmt-laden naphtha, possibly using the hot water bath. It is recommended to do the evaporation outdoors.
- When the naphtha has been sufficiently reduced in volume, cover it and let it cool down before freezing it.

Yeah that seems like the best thing to do

easy thing to fix if you're going to just blend em anyway

pour bag onto pie dish
wash bag with IPA
pour onto plants on pie dish
chop/slice,blend dissolved freeebase plant goop
let dry
scrape
chope / mix
store / use

But there is one more question. I'm going to use the Nomans Tek to extract dmt from mhrb. And in this Tek i don't need to heat the naphta. Why do I have to heat it now...or why wouldn't it work with not heated naphta ?

Bcz dmt is much more soluble in hot naphtha, some teks don't do that maybe not to pull oils..

Okay guys...update.
I did it the way you told me. Now I got about 50 to 60ml of naphta with disolved dmt. It looks a bit green or yellow. I think maybe because of the herbs.
The problem is the evaporating. Ofcourse outside is the best method...but how the hell should I keep it in a warm water bath outside....and it's freezing cold around here. So that's not happening. Inside it doesn't seem to evap at all. So my question is If I could put it in the freezer now? I mean it's 500 mg dmt and 50-60ml naphta.
