But distilling the 151 would also be much fun! 151 is a great starting point for making your own 190. You would want to use some sort of fractionating column for that, though. It's worth it to have your own supply of 95% ethanol.

your right, it can be fun. That's if I have the time to do it. It seems like 190 is getting harder to get, the place I use to get it from had reasonable prices including the shipping, and now they don't carry it. I found some other places but the shipping really makes it unreasonable. If I had more time I think it would be neat to make some from fermentation to distillation and have a continues supply, maybe one day...

Yeah, I just love distilling but you're right, it can be very time-consuming! Producing your own alcohol via fermentation requires extra care - as you probably know. At least the 151 has been carefully purified beforehand (one hopes!) Badly distilled hooch can be really nasty. Crotonaldehyde is very not fun.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Seems to me the 25% water content of 151 proof might be a problem...it might take so long to evaporate that your DMT starts oxidizing? Methanol would probably be better since it's 100% and thus fast to evaporate

I wouldn't recommend using methanol, since it is cytotoxic.
