Ok, I am going to be honest here..I just clipped a small sugar leaf poking out of one of the buds of my..uhhh..elfs cannabis plant.
I took a very small toke and blew it out casually without really holding it for any ammount of time..and I feel great! No racing heartbeat or fucked up thoughts and anxiety, no allergy responce..but I wouldnt say I am high..this was of course a leaf!..feels diff than bud. my arms feel slighty euphoric and I am relaxed, thats about it. Maybe its the diff cannabinoids in the leaf..does anyone know what cannabinoids are most present in the leaves..specifically the leaves poking out from the floweres?..and its only about 10 days into flowering.

This plant is being grown organically with no chemical ferts..

I went 3 days..longest I have gone in 2 or 3 years anyway..so maybe I will try again in a few days or a week with the same method. Going without for even 3 days feels so good and now I know I can easily go days without..plus I wont need to buy it.. My elf has no room for anything larger, but he will have more than enough for me to work with the plant once or twice a week..

Still wondering if it is the pollen in the flowers I could be allergic to..I am allergic to bee pollen and honey so it's a possability..

well, I have no regrets anyway. As long as I am not freaking out it all goodWink

I def wont be caving in and smoking others bud though socially at all..I dont want to ruin this now..
Long live the unwoke.

Hi, my names space, and I was addicted to cannabis Crying or very sad

Haha sort of anyway. I started smoking tha ganja when I was 17 which a friends mum introduced me to. I moved in to there home for a while, and our daily routine was to get up, watch a skate vid, then skate all day, we barely used to get high during the day, (I've always preferred to be straight during the day) but when we would arrive home, his mums house, man, we would smoke ourselfs to a sober high, which is mum used to supply everyday, until we had to buy our own because we were smoking so much of it.

Eventually I moved out, which is when I preffered to smoke alone only with music. When ever that sun started to go down, I used to roll and blaze up. Now, I have to say, even though I smoked, and had no job or anything, the ganja was doing me alot of good for how it transformed me. I became much more intelligent, like everytime I went into that space, I was able to use it to think so deep in to what before was incomprehendable. I got to a point where I found myself, a spiritual me, it opened my heart alot. I quit drinking, stopped eating meat, meditated and was exploring awesome ways. I got to the point though, where I'd absorbed all it's source for food, for maturing. I'd go into into this state everytime I smoked it, and I kept seeing how it's no good for me anymore, and I need to sort certain things out in my life and move on, and this very space was going to get in the way. For ages I kept going into this state everytime I got high realised what I had to do, but the next day when sober I only had the words in my head, but not quite seeing it had I'd see it high, so I'd get high again to get the message which I'd continue to not act on haha, eventually that state came into my sober state of mind. But after quiting, and going without for ages, I spent the new year in amsterdam. so..Rolling eyes I thought, maybe I'll just have one joint should be ok.. it's the new year, I'm allowed one for old times sake, and that experience wasn't good, it's like it was giving me a kick up the arse, there wasn't anything there anymore, just this big foot kicking me.

At the age of 22 I officially quit it, which was when I got home from being in amsterdam that time, I'd brought some back with me, and haha I thought "just one final time to be sure" and that final experience was exactly what I needed. It was soft and female, I was in a very calm slow state, I was being shown why I can't do it no more. Whilst this happened, it's like the actual ganja experience was dead, nothing going on, all burnt out in the background whilst I was being showed this. I trully felt it go to empty, and at that point, I realised that my sober self was much more greater than being in that state. Where as before, I'd be much more advanced smoking it.

I flushed that stuff, and wouldn't ever go back. Just no need in me whatsoever. I've seen whilst triping how ganja helped me, it trully fed a part of me that needed to blossom.

By the way, someone on here mentioned about eating ganja? At one point I grew about 20 plants and ended up with a huge pile of ganja, but didn't smoke it, I only ate it by extracting in hot butter, let me tell you, that stuff can seriously makes you trip, the visuals are unique and unlike anything I've experienced. I trully understood the saying "getting baked"

holy man, now I really do not want to smoke it...I had a wonderful changa session this morning..

I had such a low dose, becasue it was the last of my batch and my next one isn't ready yet..like this should have done next to nothing butmild relaxation and internal movement of energy..

I sat down in front of this big neon blue tie dye blanket with a druidish geometric symbol in the centre I have hanging from the ceiling at the foot of my bed, and smoked.. and faces, faces all smiling at me forming in tie dye patturn on the blanket with open eyes...not much body feelign at all or mindwarp, but still visual.

Anyone else notice that cannabis seems to sort of dull the visions?..or at least dull them at lower doses?

Also, and this is the bast part, I went to the beach today, and was noticing how everything is sooo much clearer, colours are brighter, like a haze had lifted. The water was bluer. I went skimboarding and caught some little shorebreak waves and everything seemed smoother. I went out and floated in the ocean and the sky was clearer and brighter, the clouds looked so much cooler. I never thought cannabis dulled things down like that, but I swear after smoking so much for years it must have. Everything is starting to seem more and more vibrant.

Sounds like what I used to do, skate all day. Ha, that was my life from grd 9 on. Skate all day long and film video parts. Skateboarding was my life..for a while I had a shop sponsor and entered lots of local contests and stuff..I used to skate big handrails and get hurt alot so now I skate mostly bowls when I do skate..lots of busted ankles. If I smoke too much I start to get ill tempered every time I'm not stoned.
But if I smoke in moderation (2-4 times a month max. That's my max, your max can be whatever) cannabis can be a very healing plant.
It's like with all medication. You need to take the right dose or you just get sick.

But I really have to watch out not to smoke too much. If I'm much around people that smoke every day I smoke a lot more.
I have to watch out not to be around too much.
It can be hard, but I don't want my bad temper 'caused by smoking too much to affect my family.

I have had a problem with ganja for many many years. I love it, but most of the time when I smoke it hinders rather than helps, becauase I smoke too often. The one thing that has given me strength to quit for little periods, is Ayahuasca - I find it important to not smoke for a few days at least prior to an aya ceremony, which helps me see how it is not to smoke; I have not managed to quit for more than 3-4 weeks yet, but at least I have little windows of not getting stoned every evening.

I agree, it can be a very healing and opening plant, when used with respect and moderation; and it can be an amazing helper with creative flow.

Weed makes aya/DMT etc seem dysphoric for myself. I try to stay off it for 24 hours either side of a session. I haven't bought any weed for about a year though Smile

I also get anxiety from smoking cannabis (exceptions are afghan and charas like hashes, very rarely weed that acts the same way). Even around my friends I can go paranoid wich is a bummmer. Sometimes I'm almost afraid to open my mouth and say something.

I think the quality on the weed (high on thc low on other stuff??) makes a big play in the outcome of the trip.
Did they sell the same kind of weed 30 years ago? Any old foxes out there? =)

Another thing with smoking weed is that you often get stuck in a loop (the cannabis fog). Hanging with the same friends, sitting in the same couch every day, watching the same movies, eating unhealthy maybe not cleaning and washing your clothes as you should. Maybe not very motivated or creative.
In the fog you dont really notice how long you have been doing the same stuff but your brain does and will tell you by making you feel bad even if you dont know why.

Imagine yourself sitting in a bad position in front of your computer (Like you are doing right now).
After a while your body will start to send you signals (physical pain) as a mean for you to understand
that it's time to move.
Our brain acts in the same way. If you have anxiety, you probably have some kind of problem you need to get fixed.
Like if you hurt your friend you will start to feel bad, fix it!

There's another thing that can affect people more than they think.
One problem that I think is vital in the discussion on cannabis is that it is in fact most times more than on drug in the joint.
Tobacco is very addicting and can make a huge impact on your mood.
It removes anxiety when we haven't earned it example: You are stressed out and have a problem that needs to be fixed. No problem! Just smoke a cigg and your problem will go away...or does it? well it feels that way.
And it creates anxiety when we dont disserve it example: The sun is shining and everything is perfect on your day of work. No need to get out of bed...if I could just find my cigarettes I could relax (loud scratching on the forearms).

So is it healty to boost cannabis with a very addicting stimulant like nicotine?

My experience is that if have period where I dont smoke tobacco like only pure weed or hash, I can easily have hash and weed lying around for weeks without touching it and when I do, I dont even have to smoke the last part stuck in my pipe before bedtime.
The first puff of a joint with tobacco will send me right into a smoking madhouse. As soon as the nicotine kick starts to wear of it's time to roll another one. What! it's already finished?...did I do that?

OOPS! gotta run to the gym. see you later!

But Guys ILPT is very interested in THCV tetrahydrocanabivirin, it`s not much info out about it, but rumors said it should be stronger(active in lower dose) then THC and more LSD like, also it potentiate other canabinoids.
He believe he came once in his life accross weed high in THCV, it was purchased somewhere in south Amsterdam under name Jack Herrer.
The picture show with closed eyes was overhelming but friendly, not allien or scary. There was heavy stoned effect too, problems walking etc.

There are reports that THCV acts as a CB1 receptor antagonist in the scientific literature so it shouldn't have the same effects as THC. I want to see a real report of a human injesting the pure compound at a known dose. People make all kinds of claims about their strains of cannabis but most of it is complete BS. If THCV really is an antagonist at CB1 receptors and an inverse agonist at CB2 receptors as has been reported in animal studies and receptor binding studies it shouldn't have any psychoactive effects unless its interacting somewhere else in the body.

Hash on the other hand tends to have higher levels of CBD (sometimes the same ratio as THC) and this does have an effect on THC high. It has been demonstrated clinically to reduce side effects like anxiety from THC. They use it in medical preparations like sativex (from GW pharmaceuticals). However often on seed websites and in coffeeshops they make claims that a few points of a percent CBD makes a difference in the high and thats complete BS it requires much higher doses of CBD to get that effect and the vast majority of cannabis grown in the US and Europe contains less then 1% CBD unless its a hemp variety which no one smokes. Only the unselected cannabis from places like asia and north africa has higher levels of CBD simply because the plants are not selected as much as those grown in more western countries.

In the end, the best thing I prefered to do, was to role a nice joint after a day of skating at the park, putting my headphones on, and heading home cruising down all the long roads, awesome. I really loved that. I could cruise downhill forever.

SWIM has been smoking for about ten years. SWIM now gets the same anxiety and weird uncomfortable feeling most of you describe. SWIM thinks its partially the strength of the weed and partially SWIMs brain saying you gotta take a break. SWIM thinks cutting down is best option. Or taking longer breaks.

SWIM also thinks growing your own nice soil grown normal not so potent strain helps a lot. SWIM never gets these feelings from good mild soil grown bud. Only superpotent hydro grown stuff. Anyone notice that?

Yes. SWIM notices non-hydro types to be less affecting on the overall mind/well being.

BUT kind of going along with what you said about taking a break...The key is moderation honestly and if you can afford to buy a nice electronic vaporizer it helps TREMENDOUSLY. SWIM only tokes about once a week if that. It's kind of like a treat for each weekend that comes. SWIM has always moderated whatever substance goes into his body, but then again hes like that with his health.

Working out and keeping your cardiovascular system up helps tremendously, especially with a not as strict but sensible diet. Even just staying active and leading a moreso positive lifestyle helps tremendously. SWIM has smoked for 10+ years in moderation and has also had a great diet/fitness regimen and SWIM runs a total of 20 miles a week along with weight training and FEELS great.

BTW SWIM doesnt drink either...has seen it ruins WAY TOO MANY LIVES.

ok so I made some leaf hash and took one small hit ealier today, and it was wayy wayy nicer than the other super potent kush I had been smoking all day every day for so long..the high is mellow and chill, stoney but not over stimulating. I went down to the beach and went swimming and it was so nice. It was the first time in 5 days I had smoked and if it had been buds bought locally I prob would have gotten lots of anxiety..but this was really pleasant. And it was from organic homegrown, but made from the leaves..

I like it becasue I can smoke every week or so now without going overboard due to no tolerancyVery happy, and I dont feel the need to smoke again for another week or so..there must be diff cannabinoid ratios in the leaves compared to buds..
