Hi Everybody,
Thanks for being here and giving me a chance to participate.
I'm just gonna jump right in...
First off, I'm not much of a chemist and my primary interest is so called 'Anahuasca'.
I have previous experience with Confusa root bark + Syrian rue Spirit Brew.
I've also done experimentation with Tribulus Terrestrius as an MAOI, which is effective but I have lingering doubts about it's 'energetic suitability'. It was possibly due to such experiments (and other violations

) that circumstances have prevented me from further journeys for the passed couple of years.
The spirits are calling again and I've been led to consider Silene Capensis as a possible powerful MAOI. On investigation I've found a couple (quite old) stunted discussions but no conclusive verdict. My own personal experience is that after taking Dream Root for a few days in a row I developed severe stomache cramps whenever I consumed dairy. I thought I had spontaneously developed lactose intolerance, but it cleared up a day or two after stopping taking Silene C. I understand there could be other reasons for this but I reckon it's worth a bit of investigation. Yesterday I also discovered this [url=https://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=87733] report on Erowid which really excited me.
I have some root bark and plan to explore as soon as suitable 'environmental' opportunity arises. In the mean time I have some questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.
I'm quite interested in 'keeping it local' and am eyeing Acacia Karroo as a possible source of Tryptamines. I know very little is known about alkaloid contents of A. Karroo and there seems to be no discussion about it. What makes me interested in this species is it's apparent safety (livestock feed, medicinal use etc.) and I'm interested to hear opinions of what parts of the plant are the best (and safest) or if anyone has had direct experience with it or similar experimentation with another species. My instinct would be to start with root bark but that might just be because it's what I've used before. In studying different Acacia species I haven't really seen a definite pattern concerning alkaloid concentrations vs. possible toxins in various parts of the plant.
I appreciate any pointers more experienced members might have to offer?
Thanks!
