I've been reading quite a bit but I'd like to hear more from people who want to chime in with a paragraph or two...

Any advice?
Is diet extremely important with small doses, trying to get to know the vine?
I just want to explore Caapi and use it as a medicine daily at 0.5-1g per day. I read on here somebody was doing that.(or something like this... maybe a couple times a week at higher doses, who knows yet.. Smile)
What about propanolol? Getting off of propanolol and taking an MAOI can cause hypertension, do you think this would be an issue with low dose Caapi? I've just tapered down from propanolol and will have a higher heart rate and blood pressure due to anxiety.
How strong is the inhibitory effect at low doses?

I believe that by taking the plant and being spiritual, I'll be able to learn from it and how to use it. I mean I feel like the plants will teach you if you listen, so I could wander around the jungle and potentially, survive very well Smile

My story is quite long but I've for sure been called home and it's been a long time coming.... I've been having the oddest experiences and I cannot say for sure but it's getting WEIRD!

I would be concerned about taking propanolol and caapi... even though you shouldn't be anywhere near complete MAO inhibition with only .5-1g caapi.

I'm never seriously concerned about food and harmala alkaloids, I don't feel that's going to kill me or anything, but drugs are very serious when working with caapi.
If you feel it's right, maybe you could get off the propanolol, and instead use caapi for anxiety? It is very relaxing and centering.

When gently working with harmala alks on the daily level, I feel they help guide my eating patterns towards the clean. I snack on a lot of fruit, generally don't eat to fullness, eat the most medicinal foods. The plants do start to guide me taking a little harmala every day.

Well I'm already two days off the propanolol, there may be an issue with hypertension for a week or two though I read, but I'm not sure.
Either way I went ahead and took some caapi, I'll just be my own shaman and see what I don't figure out. I've been eating pretty clean this year and studying ayahuasca a lot. I can't wait to meet her Smile

id wait a week or two atleast while coming off that pharmaceutical

using small amounts at night has proven to help with general wellness in mine and others lives
typically this leads to a restful sleep, and a trust of the plant

trust of the plant opens the platform for incorporating some "light" / dmt

that dose probably won't have any contraindications though as its roughly 1/120 - 1/60 of an average dose (full MAOI) of dried caapi
grow plants, make tea, love life

I used to underestimate caapi and rue and passionflower. But that was before I drank the brew with dmt a few times and became aware of the spiritual world. I think you're smart for wanting to get to know caapi first. She's a powerful plant, she may not produce all of the light and colorful visions of dmt but they call her the force for a reason. And the same goes for the other two. I used to look at rue and passionflower as substitutes for caapi, yet these two have their own lessons to teach and both are just as powerful. You can do some serious self work with these plants.
