If I rub my eyes when under, a switch-up occurs.
Like changing the channel on a television.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Is DMT processed by the retina?

DMT, particularly at the lower end of the intensity spectrum, plays off of those phosphene light afterimages in your vision. When you rub your eyes, you are stimulating these phosphenes. I don't think it has as much to do with DMT being processed by the retinas as much as it is a modulation to the experience you can create by doing so. There are many ways to modulate the experience, from breathing to concentration to changes in posture, lighting, sound and so on.

Im with Global on this.

Beyond a certain point, rubbing the eyes will have no effect on the experience or affect it in any way. Eventually, when you lose all your outward bodily senses and sense of being a physical being - the ability to move in any way will be out the window.

As Global said though - lower dosage spectrum, the rubbing of the eyes can alter the subtle images that are being brought up.

Another fun thing to play with is blinking. Interesting to watch the brain at work.
