...and
remembering that what we thought wasn't yet part of our inventory.....
First of all let we credit our
prophet Muhammad (SAW) with this science on
this eventIntezam loikes to mix their own psychedelic scent (not a typical perfume really) in 3ml empty bottle:
For that we take:
1)
Oudh Cambodi attar(Indian) ....it is a bit stinky at first, a fat
animalic, yet affordable "Indian" Oudh oil.
This is a thick, rich, warm multi scent of near about
unknown file association.
We mix it 1:1 with some :
2)
Green trad. Khus attar (a kind of special
'green' wild (seedy) vetiver oil from Kannauj, India - this is a
green mossy, cooling
green scent of grass roots) Don't use any other brown, or worse, clear vetiver oil!
Next we add some liberal amount of:
3) Hina 555 attar (a rich herbal, red scent, made of 75 herbs incl. a gul henna base, it's very difficult to describe other then that it evokes countless ecstatic
conversations at the betel nut and chewing tobacco vendor, like red paan
stains on a green wall)
4) we then add a tiny tiny speck (not a drop) of
rose oil (in memory of our prophet SAW) this is optional.
you can also experiment (to layer) with
Majmua 96 (Nemat) or
Majmua (majmua means
"gathering" much the way we use 'S.H.E.' at the nexus ) which is considered the No. 1 spiritual attar amongst the poor (ppl of India) Majmua is composed of green Khus attar (Vetiver),
Mitti ka attar (the oil of baked earth)
Kewda attar (Pandanus) and
Kadampa attar (a flower) ...you can find a 2,5ml bottle for under $ 6.00 on ebay or amazon (free ship)
But try to get the 'old' green majmua (not Nemat - Nemat is brown and very, very earthy)
If the oil is too thick (sticky) we add a drop of 96% alcolol. It increases the silage considerably. And we consider this halal.
So how does this work? We don't know, honestly, but they say the olfactory sense is most powerful in digging up memories. Use while travelling - use it after travels and re-live the event.....
Aaannd: this is not for everyboday
With the exeption of rose, all these scents are rather new for ppl on the Waste....but that is good - you don't want it to be a very common scents....
and of course, if one
can afford superior
quality oudh oils, then there wouldn't be a need for mixtures, since they have such storage/release power....but we....are NOT rich...and we are grateful for it
