Tested my chaliponga on a GC. Very disappointing. Not a hint of the three major alkaloids. But there was n-oxide.

Did a pull with 2 percent acidic acid. (Tek calls for 5 percent)
Added zinc power. (Twice what the tek calls for)
Stirred for four hours. (Twice what the tek calls for)

Retest shows
no n-oxide
All alkaloids expected for chaliponga but very little of the two less common

Thank you Nexus. The tek worked well on the main alkaloid and very small amounts of two other alkaloids were there after the tek.

Can you share more about the GC-MS test? Do you have the results to share? What "other alkaloids" are you taking about?

Chaliponga should have DMT, bufotenin and 5 MeO. Test of material showed only DMT n-oxide. After zinc tek there was a very nice DMT peak and small peaks for the other two. Also there was no DMT n-oxide. All was converted. I think the 5 MeO was also converted from an oxide form but I do not know what 5 MeO oxide looks like on the GC.

I do not have GC-MS. Just GC. This means I need a reference to calibrate. I have references for DMT, bufotenin, 5 MeO, some beta carbolines and a few others.

I want a 5 MeO source. A touch does good things to ayahuasca. Will look to phalaris.
