Hello my friends

Just a quick question

Quote:
4.3 Vinho da Jurema

Vinho da Jurema is a cold water extraction (CWE) of Mimosa for oral use. It can be consumed without Harmalas. However, its potency will be greatly reduced so it's recommended to combine it.

Preparation

- Put some Mimosa in a small jar
- Pour some cold water in it
- Shake it up a few times throughout the day
- Let it settle for a few days in a sealed container
- 3-5 days seems enough for most of the particles to sink to the bottom
- Poor out when the solids sink and it's easy to filter
- Optional: repeat another CWE pull /boil it /extract with DMT tek

You cannot add any acid because it will destroy Yuremamine, so it defeats the purpose of making a cold soak. Once heated, the yuremamine is done for due the heat, and the build-in activation is gone with it. Hence the cold soaks. Tap water can be used, but distilled (or at least filtered) water is better. No hot water, no chlorine, and no acid.

At the moment, I don't have any glass conteiner to use. So if I use a empty soda bottle, would it ruin the Jurema or it works fine?

If you can't hve access to two liters glass bottle, and given that only cold water is used in this basic tek, a plastic bottle can be use too.

Here I have found easily 5 liters HPDE tank, they sell for de-ionised water.

Also, tap water varies ( and is often basic ), for this vinho de jurema I would also use de-ionised water or some good natural spring water.

I see acid would damage juremanine, I do'nt know the perfect pH for this te, but if I were to try it, I would try get some 7 pH neutral water.

This sort of tek can be used for acacia confusa too, or how do they do traditionnaly ?
Also will you take harmalas with it ?

Thanks rOm

I don't know about Acacia.

And yes, I'll take some Syrian Rue extract.

I hope this time I got a breakthrough.

It is possible, yes.

I tried it as an experiment a few years ago, although my technique was doing repeated freeze/thaw/shake using just water and MHRB in a 2L soft drink bottle. My aim to see how much could be extracted from MHRB without heat (I followed it up with a traditional A/B on the extracted bark).

The technique I used pulled about 50% of the DMT if my memory serves me right.

Go ahead, keep track of how much mimosa rootbark you add and quantity of water you add for the dosage records Smile
