Hi everyone,

Now everytime I do DMT I get feeling of choking which prevents me from being able to inhale more. Not like a bad taste or unable feeling to hold smoke in

It literally feels like my body has forgotten how to breathe I get the need to keep swallowing over and over again otherwise I feel like I'm going to swallow on tongue.

How do I overcome this???

Should I just continue to inhale even if I feel like I have stopped breathing

You're not choking. You can lose complete awareness of your breathing, to the point of it feeling like your breathing has ceased. Your body knows what to do.

Big tokes, lay back, smile. Smile

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

I"m with Tatt 100% (assuming your DMT is clean and free of any unwanted impurities). The bodily sensations brought on by DMT are innumerable and can be strange and uncomfortable to the point where it feels absolutely unbearable.

If it helps, during one of my first breakthroughs, I honestly thought I was having a medical emergency because of the INTENSE pressure and loud buzzing/ringing sound piercing the air and that I would surely die. By the time that thought flashed through my head, it was already too late to alert my girlfriend. I was gone in less than 30 seconds. Gone to a place where I thought I had always been, dark as it was, with no memory of this waking reality whatsoever.

*Usually (and I want to stress the word usually) the uncomfortable feelings are most intense during the quick onset or the coming up stage.*

But obviously I did not die and am here now with many more experiences like that under my belt. It isn't something you ever really get used to, more like something you learn to cope with in order to break through to the other side.

Good luck!

Also can maybe try this (if can-remember): when exhaling the (1st) toke (already in lungs), try to exhale with pursed lips, rather then just plain exhale...
