Hey there folks hope everyone is having a smooth start to their week! got a little story/experience to share and was wondering what some of yall may think or if you have had similar experiences. so here it goes..

So last night, after some moments of relaxation of body and mind t was time for me to enter hyperspace. the time was approx. 11:50pm I was laying/sitting up in bed under the covers with my little dog/copilot dachshund beside me (under the blankets against my thigh) I told her I was bout to take a trip around the sun with her (the next day/ in 10min would be her birthday) After a few more deep breathes i filled my lungs and took off on what was one of the more beautiful experiences ive had to date.

Upon exiting out of my trip (still flying quite high though/heavy afterglow) my dog pops out from under the covers, crawls up to my face stares at me starts rubbing her face on me and began to start wiggling on her back all around the bed/my side.I note the time and it is now 12:03am..i wish her a happy birthday and return the head rubbings and giving her praise for how she is my best friend and how thankful i am to have her. she then starts looking all around the room/air very intently..sniffing as well. she hops off the bed and is staring wildly at my patterned blankets opening her mouth at times.. I though she got high some how.. but it couldnt have been second hand smoke for she was under the blankets the entire time just until the end. she was lying against my thigh the whole time me and my body where vibrating through hyperspace..could there be some kind of energy transference that animals could pick up on? I pose this question because My brother had a very similar experience with his cat just a few nights ago. pretty much same behavior (though it was not the cats birthday ) which made me think even more there could be something happening.. I remember seeing a thread of similar topic in the nexus some time ago but i couldnt locate it to keep the convo going..

I remember hearing stories/rumors in high school not to pet your dog or cat too much if you were really high on E on L cause it could soak into the animal via you hands/sweat..I never knew or found this to be true but this experience was strange.


What do you guys think? ever have something similar happen? or was i just still really high

I think what may be happening is that, even though your dog was beneath the covers during the actual smoking and experience, it is possible that there was some DMT hanging around in the air that she got a whiff of, and since dogs would likely require a significantly smaller dose to experience effects, she may have gotten a threshold reaction that way. another possibility is that dogs may not have the monoamine oxidase enzyme, thus making tolerance not as significant of a factor and allowing multiple sniffs of it to build up until something happens. their noses are also much more sensitive and this could also play a role.
