Throughout the years when I came down from my DMT trip comma I would always have the inclination to load it just one more time, just a small dose, maybe to try to prolong the trip. But it almost seems like when I do that it kind of burns me out and I feel more tired the rest of the day then if I had just stopped from that first dose, is this common and does this happen to other people? Should I just load it once and burn that up, or is it normal and okay to put a little bit more after coming down from that one? I guess I mean about 10 minutes after the first dose.

In other words it almost seems like my brain gets really tired if I loaded up once more after the first few tokes of the first load. I know it is different for everybody comma maybe I am just wondering if age is playing a factor. Now in my later 30s.

Second part to this question is have you ever felt like you have simply done it too many times and you just can't handle it or take it anymore? That you have gone so far in the past that you feel like you just cannot physically handle going back there?

Peace my beautiful beings of light exclamation point
Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.

Yup I like to call it hippy crack wasted

Kind of like a fractal fog
Where your just completely shot . It really can be physically taxing to go in repeatedly. It can take alot out of you. Best journeys are the ones where your feeling physically good and strong. I get the most out of those .

There is point where its just too much and it doesn't even work anymore . But sometimes it's just so good and that last extra blast seems like it's worth it. I just think there's always next time and try to resist the temptation. I try to have some discipline with it but sometimes it's just too good to resist .

Integration is just as important as the trip. If you are constantly going out on these journeys and not integrating it can pile up on your mind. Tiredness could be lots of things. How is your diet? Try eating some fruit after your trip and see if you feel any better. This helps me quite a bit. I also enjoy the taste and sensations of eating a delicious apple after returning to my body.

Wait at least an hour before partaking in another journey. 24 hours is likely ideal.

IF you get the sense that you are doing it too much, then you likely are doing it too much. Work on intent and integration a bit more. I think you will find that your journeys take on a new light. Psychedelics are self regulating in many respects. Listen to what they tell you.

Are you attempting to escape reality or are you just excited to do it again?

My experiences have been oral (4hrs) and the slow coming back takes an eternity and I feel totally burned out.

Yeah that is where I am at the moment. I'm glad I had a certain amount of nativity because it is impossible to get over the size of a big breakthrough experience and if I'd known I probably wouldn't have had the guts to do it!

When I journey with DMT, I take multiple hits. I vape a solid dose and I journey into hyperspace. When I come back to earth, I ruminate on what I was shown. After about 5-10 minutes of rumination, I load up another solid dose and delve back into the inner reaches of consciousness. A typical DMT ceremony for me is 4 trips. I don't get burned out. The after effects are just being deep in thought.

I don't recommend this to anyone. Know your limits, and don't exceed them in one go.

I do notice a cravings for sugar, which normally I could care less, after blast offs. Must use-up a lot of glucose in the brain at that moment. That would be interesting research.

Haha.. I know thoughts like "I want to go back, let's give it another blast" but on one hand I have experienced, that these hits directly after coming back don't take me that far anymore, maybe if I f.e. double the dose, and on the other hand I let go of this idea/desire which tries to push me. It is already, nowhere to go, nothing to do.

But, if I blast off again I stick to...

Rolling eyes

An other option would be to start with a higher dose, than the "used" one, on the first blast off.

@DisEmboDied; From my point of view I can only say, stick to your feeling. I don't think that there is a right way of how (often) to do it and moreover there is no need to vape DMT at all. If you feel tired/bored/exhausted/... and think that it is enough for the moment, why do you think of blasting off on DMT again?
Beside of that, I don't experience any symptoms which I correlate to my age and dmt useage.
