Recently i have been thinking about compassion towards entheogenic use. Obviously The United States of America is not a country that falls into this category. I was wondering are there any countries that do fit into this category? or has the anti-"drug" agenda pretty much taken over the world.

I know several South American countries will allow use as long as it fits into the traditions of the people there (ie coca leaf tea/chewing, ayahuasca).

Portugal and Netherlands are pretty open minded. Spain is on its way.

In the south part of Mexico you can join random Mushroom and Ayahuasca ceremonies without the fear of being arrested. Many of them for free.
In San Luis Potosi and Nayarit (Mexico) you can pick Peyote, but lately its getting more and more difficult because many people (nationals and foreigners) started to steal the whole cactus (in very large amounts).

The Czech Republic also comes to mind.

^I read that possession of DMT has been decriminalized in Czechia. Amazing since it is illegal everywhere else.

Holland is pretty liberal furtunately, there are several reliable organisations organising aya ceremonies...advertising out in the open on the web. a let of entheogenic supplies can be bought in legal smart shops..

think in terms of zones, not countries.

i dont think many actual nations are " cool"
however, there are zones of lawlessness with drugs.

the island im on is a well established smuggling/ transit point.
the place is like a buyers club for the garbage bag and bale set.
LEO here is totally corrupt here, and will only chase major dealers they dont like.
dont scare tourists, and your fine.

I love the united states but I hate my government. If someone kicks down my door so that they can throw me in a cage because of my use of DMT they will be lucky to survive. Someone that's willing to destroy another persons life just to make some money is the real criminal .

Well, I can not say much about countries or goverments.
But if your main goal is to have privacy, any third world country will do.

Eastern Europe for instance...

But really the thing that worked for me around this subject is:
Get a job on the internet. A solid job like programming or english teaching works.
Buying a property is cheap, living is cheap. You will have free time to do entheogens as you wish.
But don't tell or you'll get in trouble
