I am glad to see you are enjoying your psychedelic journey thus far! It is nice to hear that psychedelics have inspired you to look within and work with your spirit.
I have experienced some forms of synesthesia a couple times on DMT and Ayahuasca. Very odd feeling and impossible to describe. I felt like I could breathe through my eyes. I could smell through my ears. I felt as though my body had been rearranged into so many forms that I experiences lots of weird sensations throughout my body. So strange.
Cheers!
I experienced Synesthesia since I was born. Seeing colors all the time while I read, write, talk, listen to music or do math. I can Also feel light with my eyes!
Interesting, could you elaborate?
This type of stuff has always held a particular interest for me...

Yeah I could do that. Synesthesia is just a word. Since I discovered that word I was like wow. This word is beautiful just like: Synthesizer, syntax, amygdala, thalamus, continuous, autonomy and quantum mechanics. I like those words because the sound of people pronouncing them is a sensation to me. Reading them is also really nice. When I read or write I see colors. The word "Quantum" is a pattern to me. "Q" is beige, "u" is orange, "a" is red and so on. The whole word is beige as well "DMT" is purple too me, but "Dimethyltryptamine" is not because that one is darkblue. Words also may vary when pronounced or differently with a
different intonation which is also a nice word : )
Characters also have properties in "my synaesthetic world". All the capital characters have one thing in common. They are the elder ones, they are dominant and ask attention because they are being praised! Numbers are some kind of dark animal like beings and all liquid.
When I have to calculate something is see two objects or two shapes. They space between them is the answer. Monday is red, Thursday is orange, Wednesday is blue (in my language the words have a different color: Yellow, orange, pink) The words also come with expressions and feelings. As a musician I must say I enjoy music quite a lot. When I play bass, piano or guitar I see the music, I can also smell it sometimes. The smell of blues is like wet dirt in the summer and classical music smells like rusty metal or roses. When I listen to classical music like Bach, Samprini or Liszt the high pitched notes are falling down like drips of water. Except that this is falling slowly, just like the game "synthesia". Bass can also be very fuzzy or block it differs and it depends of the range of notes. Music notation is also very colourful and different from characters. "A" red, "B" red, "C" light green, G dark green, "F" yellow, "F#" light yellow and again so on.
I'm also very hyper sensitive, so sometimes it's also resulting into having a hard time to focus on one thing. I can't read in noisy spaces. Only when isolated or with music that is creating a huge distance and finally will result in ear damage. I don't like wool because it feels like sandpaper to me and I think sheeps should be free. I'm neither a fan of leather.
I always had everything above. I never read!
What I do is analyse the patterns and the context and then I know the word and this happening really fast in a blink of an eye. The word "an" is red + yellow, but it's a "red word". Not just because it's starting with an "a". The word "Differential" is pink and which is weird because it's starting with a dark purple/blue like color. Hypothetically I could say I don't quite know that's exactly is happening in my head. I just have some kind of idea that is around 20% accurate. I mean only synaesthesia related. When I was a kid I noticed that every single face has a song. I hear music when I communicate with people, because when I have eye-contact I notice that I'm able to "hear their face". When I was around 6 - 8 I was not taking elementary school teachers seriously because I heard "those funny songs".
I know those examples are very abstract and weird, but it's hard to explain it to people who don't have that. I hope I kind of answered your question.
Cheers!
