This paper was recently published by the excellent Robin L. Carhart-Harris, David Nutt and colleagues:

This is the first neural imaging study on LSD, as far as I know, exciting.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing!

I don't understand a lot of the jargon and whatnot, but I can get the gist of some of it. I'll report back, likely with a million questions or so, once I've managed to trudge my way through it all.

But first, are you experienced?

I too have been waiting for this!

David Nutt said “This is to neuroscience what the Higgs boson was to particle physics." I'm so please research like this is still going forward. If the silly Psychoactive Substance Bill does get passed (fingers crossed it doesn't) brain research like this will halt in the UK.

An interview with David Nutt about the study Smile

It summarises some of the findings for those who are not familiar with these kinds of papers Wink

Damn, that Psychoactive Substance Bill sounds pretty bad DoingKermit, still going at it with the war on drugs Thumbs down
There is so much potential and possible clinical applications in studying psychedelics, It would be a shame if research in this area becomes even more difficult to do :/
