It seems to me that it wouldn't work unless combined with an MAOI. There's MAO pretty much everywhere so any DMT entering your system is immediately starting to be metabolized. Since I doubt the absorption would be very fast through the skin, the DMT is probably getting metabolized as quickly as it enters the bloodstream. You will probably only get threshold effects at best. This is from my experience taking DMT fumarate rectally both with and without harmine, where it bypasses the liver and goes straight into the bloodstream. Without harmine, it doesn't really work, even at massive doses because the absorption to metabolism ratio is too low. Harmine changes the dynamics so that the DMT has time to reach the brain.
