All were found flowering today (August) in South Eastern Australia

Specimen 2 seems to be longifolia, the rest of them although they look like obtus I'm assuming they are maidenii due to the fact the flowers are a distinct yellow (obtus pale off-white yellow) and they are flowing now (obtus nov-jan). From personal experience neither seem to yield appropriately however some strands of maidenii are supposed to be very good so I'd try those ones before anything, unless of course you come across obtus. They all look quite different to me however number 2 distinctly as you said. I know that the plants plasticity from different water/light/nutrient/competition environments can cause these variations among individuals however how much?

Does anyone know the identification specs for maidenii? Such as what is the..
-Leaf length/width for mature individuals?
-Flower spike length?
-Resin glands present?

I do have a Victorian plant identification book but I have not been able to find it recently.
