I'm still ignorant in this area, so please don't mind any stupid questions.  Months ago, now, I REMOVED 100 grams of Acacia Confusa bark. However, to be imported, it had to processed with heat treatment for around 8 hours at a temperature of 85 Celsius. I can't fully remember the details, nor can I find the exact details on the Australian government agriculture website. I assume it likely that the DMT would still be intact, and suitable for proper extraction? Many thanks in advance!  “The dao that can be expressed is not the eternal Dao.”

Luckily you live in a region where many Acacia species grow well. Look into a variety that has DMT in the phyllodes (floribunda?)and you will be golden. Thanks, skoobysnax! I'll just give extraction a shot and see how it goes. Yeah, I live in Australia... but I know precious little about plants, nor have I really had the presence of mind to be able to care over the past few months. "Wattle" means acacia down there right? Thanks for the interesting links, skoobysnax! I'll check them out soon. If the DMT is in salt form, then I doubt it may have been harmed much, if at all. FASA seems like the best method, especially because I live in a small apartment. “The dao that can be expressed is not the eternal Dao.”
