My niece and nephew are really into helping their mom garden, so I'm getting them some Mimosa Pudica seeds. They're cheap, and they literally respond to being touched (the leaves fold up), so I thought they would be good for the kids. They are like a bonsai sized Mimosa tree, with pink puffball flowers that sprout legume seed pods.

My question lies in that I've read conflicting reports concerning entheogenic use of M. Pudica, some claims of N,N- being present in root/RB and in seedpods, other claims of 5-Meo, and still other claims of the whole idea being bunk.

I still think the plants are a cool stocking stuffer, so I don't care about that. But if anyone has personal experience with these and can say simply if they think they're viable or not, I'd appreciate the feedback. A buck a pack of seeds isn't really a huge investment, so I'll probably get at least one extra pack anyway.
My eyes shut tight to avoid the sight
Anticipating the end, losing the will to fight
Droplets of "yes" and "no"
In an ocean of "maybe"

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

may be of interest Smile

Indeed it was most interesting! One of two people who did the phytochemical research on M. Pudica shares the same lineage as me hahah.

Well M. Pudica is found abundantly in my locality. Just wondering if anyone managed to get any successful extractions done on it.

It's also mentioned in the thread that people in Hawaii are known to smoke the rootbark. Wonder what that'll do.
The thing is that even if it has very low DMT meo5 content, it is very very abundant over here and there isn't really a matter of running out of plant material. One just has to look around. Hope someone might have info to share on this
