The only thing you can do is try & see if it is still active. Scrape & dose the powder with harmalas or redissolve & try it out.
It may be weaker or it may be totally inactive.

As a rule of thumb I do not reduce when I get too tired. A large volume like that IMO is always better to reduce a couple hours at a time over the course of a week.

Been there, man.

That was actually what taught me not to try to do clandestine midnight extractions behind housemates' backs!

Oh man! Were you doing an extraction or an Aya brew? I've unfortunately had a similar experience with an A/B extraction years ago and managed to save a portion of it. Not sure how severe your situation is, but most of the time it is salvageable IME. As long as nothing is thrown out.

the elves are amused Big grin
You might've already resolved if you can salvage anything or not but in my experience doing this with cactus and acacia brews it just sucks and shouldn't be done Razz but if only the bottom bit burns and the top dries out, and it's bark remnants unfiltered, it should be usable but maybe burnt tasting after adding water; if it was filtered, thus turned to goo and it all burned, it's gone like hash without the h. I Intended to use for an extraction... did it and got some yield!!!!

yielded pure white fumarate fine powder... that (sorry if i offend anyone) reminds me of cocaine's appearance... i had never had fumarates so white and powdery... my fumarates always looked like clear traslucent needle shards... or tan/salmon flakes

did a test with elrich reagent and it turned purple indicating the presence of indoles Smile...

so not all is lost if you burn your stuff!!! i wonder if i could have picked something nasty from the burnt stuff...

1st pull

Just wondering how exactly you went about extracting after you burnt it? I'm not in this situation just curious is all.

kinda amazed Cool
Once, I burned an acacia bark brew, and instead of crying over spilled milk I just added water and carried on with boiling rue. The burned acacia bits seemed to be incredibly active because drinking the following rue tea resulted in the most powerful and profound trip I ever had, along with the most violent purges ... The acacia was evident in the brew in color and taste it was dark brown almost black tea.
I had a profound thought of Earth, and visions of civilizations building and falling over time; the results of pollution showed so vividly to me is something I see in my day to day life, as well as in DMT trips subsequently; it is as if the plant spirits speak to me as seeking help somehow often now...

Well i scraped the burnt remains that were stuck on the pot..... added generous amounts of lime and proceded to make q21q21's dry tek using the charred remains.... honestly im quite thankful and amazed i got something from it...

concombres... no i havent bioassayed it yet.. maybe i should before i make more pulls from it...

btw yield was 450 mg fumarates on first pull of 500g of mimosa... that is roughly 200 mg dmt freebase... so we can say confidently that most of the spice was destroyed... at least i salvaged a couple doses...

I recently did the same thing. I was so disappointed. It was my first big extraction (700 gms MHRB). I did continue on and ended up with a small amount of brown powder, fine powder like talcum powder. I saved it but am leery of using it. Probably lost 5 gms of finished product. On a side note, I'm using phosphoric acid in the wash and the crystals are much cleaner than using H2SO4.
