Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new here.. been lurking around for about an hour every now and then. I though I should start writing this essay after reading/studying this new world a bit harder, but I may as well write another one later on

After reading some of the other essays, I see you (or should I start using *we*) don't follow any special structure for introduction, so I'll just write from my heart.

I come from a country where ALL illegal substances are treated the same. There is no big difference between coke, heroin, cannabis or MDMA.. at least this is how most of the people react when they hear/see someone "sick". I don't even mention LSD.. DMT is not even a word here (maybe there are some exceptions like me that have heard about it I hope there are)

I'm 25 years old, and so far have only tried cannabis.
I was drinking alcohol with friends almost everyday, and saw cannabis as a heavy drug that can lead to other stuff and ruin your life, and this is how most people see it today also.
So.. I was, a soon to become alcoholic until I was offered cannabis which I denied with a though *Who are these people? What am I doing here?*. And became a daily routine for some of my friends.. they were mixing it with alcohol, so I started researching it (this was like 4 years ago).

After doing some basic math from reading some statistics and threads on forums from good and honest people like you, I decided to give cannabis a try.

Doing it everyday, helps me concentrate better when working, helps me with my sinus infection and it helped me quit drinking and instead, light a joint with friends and have fun peacefully.
I'm a software engineer by the way.

After I started doing research about cannabis, I continued reading about other illegal substances, and tried to learn which ones are beneficial and which one are harmfull. I stumbled across a movie "Enter the void" and also I've been following Adam - PsychedSubstance on Youtube (not trying to promote anyone!!!) but this guy deserve's some thumbs up, and that's how I learnt about DMT.

So, basically I'm here because I want to read, explore and learn more about this substance, and maybe someday when I have more free time to learn how to extract it and try making it at home.

That's if for now, I plan on updating this thread with time, probably in the coming days when I have something more to say about me..

I will probably just read and maybe ask questions in the coming months, if that's ok?

I'm happy you were able to see past the propaganda and find your way to healthier habits, and to this site.

I guess haven't really taken into account before just how many people have been "turned on" to the subject of DMT by movies like Enter The Void and via Adam's youtube videos. I honestly wouldn't consider those the best introduction to DMT, but if they helped you find your way here, I suppose they are making a positive contribution in their own way.



This is exactly the kind of intention I like to see when approaching this topic/these compounds/this forum.

Actually at first I only wanted to find and try shrooms and LSD, at least one.. to get that high trip everyone is talking about..

Then I saw the movie and discovered that there is even more that these two substances. So, I naturally started exploring and learning about them and also DMT, and at this point I found out that most people use them for recreational purposes, and this is where all the bad words and bad stories come from. But there is so much more, so much potential and so many challenges that you encounter along the way (speaking from what I read, haven't experienced anything from this), so yea.. I'm glad I found this place!

Looking forward to grow as a person both physically and spiritually.

I mainly work web based applications, Node.JS, Angular/Backbone, and have some decent experience with C# and .NET. I've tried pretty much everything, from Objective C to Android and desktop applications.

I usually do already prepared business logic, and love learning new ways/solutions. We can chat about it more if you PM me, I don't mind sharing this here, but I don't think it's relevant to most of the people?

Welcome to the Nexus glad you're here and I would like to say I'm glad even in your country which sort of sounds like the Middle East I could be wrong but I'm glad you see past the propaganda they are plenty of things to learn here and very nice talented people here enjoy your stay.
