Lol, honestly I feel that way sometimes when listening to Ozric Tentacles (psychadelic space rock is what they call it i beleive) especially while in altered states. Ever heard of em? No I have not. Soon as I get home from the docs I'll check it out. "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

Ayahuasca - Zugezogen Maskulin You might not understand anything at all. But the core of the song is thatthey do not understand anything and that everything sucks. And that they arent sure who is talking right now their own mind or the ayahuasca.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGDPX5WMqKMNot chill vibes, but I would submit this as possibly the earliest DMT reference (@ 1:00) in music, 1967. And apparently we're practicing Necrothreadiests. My flesh moves, like liquid. My mind is cut loose.

I have a song from Slackbaba in which he uses fragments of TMK that I haven't heard before, and I listened quite a bit back in the day to some of his lectures . ENJOY! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6iWNZksxMs

It's not about dmt, or rock but for using during a session i'd recommend bad vibes by shlohmo the name is counter intuitive its extremely chill for me. Humans are the only beings to change their entire universe in a heartbeat simply by changing their outlook on it... If you like shpongle (Simon posford + raja ram) and 1200 micrograms (raja ram + others) as previously mentioned in this thread, then I'd suggest also Younger Brother which is a posford band. Put those three bands in a Pandora channel and absorb..........great stuff coming from that genre these days. As far as new classic rock and the negativity, I totally disagree. Silversun Pickups has tons of subltle psychedelic references, and truly innovative grooves. The modern funk rock work in the festival scene is popping, and jam bands still innovate to no end. Take time to listen...........its out there if you look for it. Peace- At the center of this existence, it is everything and nothing, all of us and each of us and none of us. The Armiger - Dimitri Quote:Release in me the power to see into the fifth dimension My consciousness is lacking much insight and concentration All occuring every second during the forty ninth day of gestation Within my mind I possess a kind of matter undulation And once it's free this DMT will be my liberation Will be my liberation And I've been transformed into the cosmos The spirit molecule is composed of matter shattered into quanta Let my fate delegate to sway my chakra Have you seen the entities that await your hallucinations while you sentiment through the firmament and view their populations The subject of mayal's object is the topic of conversation Soaked into so much debris I need my own salvation and once it's freed this DMT will be my liberation and I've been transformed into the cosmos The spirit molecule is composed of matter shattered into quanta Let my fate delegate to sway my chakra have you seen the entities that await your hallucinations While you sentiment through the firmament and view their populations The subject of mayal's object is the topic of conversation Soaked into so much debris I need my own salvation And once it's freed this DMT will be my liberation Somehow, I feel like musically it is one of the weaker tracks of the album :-) https://thearmiger.bandcamp.com/"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." - Albert Camus

Theres a good standalone Dark Star (grateful dead) from I think '71 that clocks at a perfect 22 minutbes, one of the few times I was accompanied by music with 5meo DMT, and it seemed to be custom made for a flight into the void. Sorry, thats pretty lame to not have at least a date, let alone a link, but I promptly lost the file somehow-it may have not actually ever existed in space-time and is a construct of high 5meo weirdness, maybe. Shortly after lifting off, Jerry performs a stellar invocation of light, and I recall it seemed to fire an optic circuit to the center of my skull and seemed to perceive some inner light. As for the music I lost it somewhere outside the void and then there it was again as I made re-entry coasting along with me all the way back to base. and just about any other sphongle song THIS^ And also I find that TOOL has a lot of (later) songs about DMT. Rosetta Stoned actually REFERENCES DMT: <<10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" pose, just outside of Area 51. Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this.>> This song talks about waking up in a hospital bed with a message (after dropping the listed drugs) from aliens that he forgot to write down. The album artwork from the most recent albums are chiefly Alex Grey paintings. Lateralus is an album that seems to be chiefly about the revelations from psychedelic experiences with DMT, like the expansion of time, learning to embrace the uncertainties of life and explore them, fragmentation and re-integration of the EGO, etc. I listened to Lateralus (the song) on a DMT trip and had my first breakthrough, where I was able to traverse the huge space of my mind, and my physical brain in the right hemisphere, and lost my body. The song was the actual length of the full visionary experience. The comeup lasted about exactly as long as the part of the song that represents it... I mean, later TOOL -IS- DMT music. I’m Nobody! Who are you? Are you Nobody too? Then there’s a pair of us! Don’t tell! they’d advertise – you know! I am the Walrus. Goo goo g'joob.

Funny thing is that I have been into Tool since I was a child. It's interesting to come full circle and discover that some of my favorite artists (Tool, Meshuggah) are into DMT. Meshuggah's lyrics seem to explore the darker side of hyperspace.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X7oKUenpbwShpongle - museum of consciousness This album reminds me of DMT... As does this song by eyedea titled "the dive" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n4iadLN6IUI'm pretty sure this song was inspired by psilocybin or e psychedelic experience in general, but I have always got a very DMT type vybe from it, it always reminds me of the flash... Quote: eyedea – The Dive It starts out with a question. How much of it is real? The skepticism sets in, and lessens your appeal Next, you study conspiracy, develop some theories And become extra wary of all your previous learned material Your tolerence for stupidity degrades Most of your friends seem to be trapped in the maze You narrow your associates down to the few you can stand And even they sometimes wonder what's going on in that head of yours You study east and western philosophy, psychology, physics You think a lot more, and start to question existence You wonder about your nervous system's limits You tamper with reality maps, and then ask hallucinogenic induced "Who am I's? What am I? Am I forever?" All information breathes in the shallow dark hells of never You can see where it's leading. You wish you were dreaming If the castle crumbles no one's there to put it back together
[Chorus] Have you ever felt yourself slippin' away? Where all you think about's your sanity, and how it decayed? There's no place to run, no place to hide You can't escape from inside, and you're losing your mind You try to think of when it started, and ask yourself why But each thought deepens the sickness and completes the desert dry Fear feeds the derangement of the inner eye With nothing left you find yourself falling to madness so you...
... cry to your god, and act normal to your peers What if God ain't hearing you? That's your only fear Each day you think more about your psychosis No one but you can help you, and you know this That's the craziest part of it all In your rational mind, you only know two things for sure One is that your totally nuts And the other is that you're the only one with the cure It doesn't make sense, it's not how you imagined You never knew it could just happen You thought it came from stress, suicide, a near death experience War, drug trips, low pay ,carelessness You've heard plenty of stories about schizophrenia But never had evidence of one who thought himself mad You're going crazy, and desperately reachin' for reason But the strain to stay sane's your only demon; best believe it
[Chorus]
You finally realize that you've always lived in hell No human model or metaphor can explain how you fell The puzzle's alive, and it changes as you try to escape it It created time and made it appear to pass by You don't know what you think. You don't think what you know You're a total lunatic, and afraid it's starting to show Where do you go when your brain is your worst enemy? The six hundred and sixty six foot tall bridge on seventh street? You're scared. You're scared. Why are you so scared? There'd be no problem if you didn't care Now you've truly formed an opinion about heaven It starts out with a question, and this is what it ends in
Now I know you've felt yourself slip away Now all you think about's your sanity, and how it decayed There's no place to run. No place to hide You can't escape the fact that you've lost your mind You can't erase your mistakes. There's no way to rewind The harder you look, the harder it is to find Fear feeds the derangement of the inner eye With nothing left you find yourself falling to madness, so you dive So you dive (repeated)
And with each foot you fall The voice in your head starts to sound more and more like yours
