Dear Members of the Nexus

A friend of mine (it really wasn't me Big grin ) did an A/B Extraction on Acacia Confusa.

He did it, because i am not so good in A/B Extraction and i have only experience on STB with Mimosa.

So, it was also the first time for him working with AC and what he yielded you can see in the pictures below.

Now: Is this right?? We're both unsure about it. As you can see, the first pull yielded pretty stonehard crystals. The second one pulled crystals but pretty sticky and gooy. The last pull ended up in that black-like goo, which is extremly sticky.

Can anybody help us, if we can use this? He did a check in the laboratoy and got the result of a mix of 50% DMT and 50% NMT ... Can anyone out there confirm, that this is right? it also smells very different to Mimosa Spice... it smells very sweet, like candy.

Question: If i dissolve the NMT in Acetone (for making changa), would it react, or can i use it also to make changa? or would you advise me to use ethanol as solvent for making changa?

Thank you very much already for your help.

It looks fine to me. And yes, you can dissolve NMT in acetone.

I would do at least one re-crystallization on that with heptane or naptha, but im a bit of a purist.

Be careful with that more brown gooey stuff it looks more like ACRB soup than acacia goo although I may be wrong.
If you re-x that more powdery stuff it would clean it up and not be so waxy
