So I did an extraction and ended up with some of the acrb soup in with the naphtha in the crystallization pans. I'm wondering how I can go about getting rid of it? But I kind of want to keep everything there for the full spectrum stuff? thanks!!

EDIT - Solved thanks to any body who gave suggestions, I learned all you really need to do with acacia is make sure you re-x all of you product from your pulls, always ends up looking way nicer once its re-x'd if any one that's new to extractions still cant figure out their goo situation give me a shout maybe I can help, I don't have a lot of experience or anything I'm new too but I've successfully dealt with my goo every batch so far with no issues!

Well, there are a couple things you could do:

1. A recrystallization.

or

2. The basic soup is denser then the naphtha so it sinks to the bottom. You can carefully decant your naphtha into a separate dish, while leaving behind a minimal amount of dmt saturated naphtha plus acrb soup.

or

3.You can carefully pipette/syringe/turkey baster the acrb soup out of the naphtha or vice versa.

I'm sure there are other ways but those are a couple to give you an idea. No matter what you end up doing it is wise to perform a recrystallization as a final step to ensure purity.

Good luck!

I heard that a re-crystallization will remove the NMT thought as well, I was kind of hoping for the full spectrum, but oh well, I would rather lose the full spectrum then smoke lye Very happy

Before I learned how to work a turkey baster, I ended up with particles of soup and my extract as well. My advice to you at this point is to simply re-crystallizer extract. If you lose a portion of the full spectrum, then so be it but I kinda doubt you're going to lose much of the NMT.

Next time, just be a little more careful with your pulling, and, just as grateful one suggested, use two vessels to decant from your soup. Drop your pulls in vessel number one and allow any sediment to fall to the bottom.

By the time you finish and are ready to do your next pull, just simply carefully pour off – do not use a syringe or a baster – the NPS into your final precip/evap dish.

This two-step process has eliminated any need for recrystallization for me. That and learning how to steady my hand.

Many happy returns to you. Good luck in your future efforts.

I'm sure I'm too late in replying for this time, but I'll mention what I do anyway. I prefer to transfer my pulls to a shallow/flat dish (with lid for freeze precip). When I accidentally get some (very sticky) basic soup into my dish, I find it easily adheres to a swab or paper towel or my finger, and leaves my pull, clean.

I learned not to really care how much soup gets in the first run, after re-x its all gone anyways and every bit of product gets re-x'd over here so bye bye soup Very happy
