I'm curious. Is it in some way necessary to compensate the dosage for other present alkaloids within the final product? Such as NMT.

For example (please bare with my beginner knowledge)

Using ACRB:

If the bark has, lets say, 1.15% DMT & 1.43% NMT (source - https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/Acacia_confusa )& you want a 50mg dose of the DMT. Does the required dosage actually need to be 100mg (roughly)? Due to the presents of the other alkaloids.

If I'm completely misunderstanding this ... please fill me in.

Thanks for the advise!

The thing is, alkaloid content and ratio varies quite wildly in plants. They don't have a quality control system in place. You would have to know what you had first. You could do a fraction on the plant material or on your extraction to determine what your alkaloid content is.

Music is alive and in your soul. It can move you. It can carry you. It can make you cry! Make you laugh. Most importantly, it makes you feel! What is more important than that?

Yeah, as Null said, there really isn't any way to know the ratio content of your specific extract without the proper equipment to test it.

When I first started extracting, I always ended up with acrb goo. The problem was the variance(s) in the experience. Sometimes 50mg would cause a breakthrough while other times it would produce next to nothing or something comparable a level 1+ shroom trip. Acacia goo is tricky like that...so if you do plan on trying to compensate, be careful because you may get a much heftier dose of DMT than you were expecting.

Really I'm not even sure how much it matters.

Everyone's reaction is different and if you're just starting you might want to begin with a small to very small dose just to gauge your reaction. You can then work your way up from there. Assuming you're continuing to use the same supply, you should have consistent results this way and the actual percentage isn't even that relevant.

That being said, if you're new to this, I would not recommend going for 50 mg right off the bat. People have had full breakthrough experiences with less than half that much.

Just a recommendation.

I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today,
I wish, I wish he'd go away.
