Hello,

SWIM has used all manner of instruments when trying to separate various things carefully and cleanly. A glass 25ml pipette generally works well, but they are a pain in the arse to use because they are so long, etc.. SWIM has also used polyethylene pipettes (disposable 3ml deals) and they seem to hold up fairly well to the hydrocarbons - not sure about acetone (seems like acetone softened them up) - and never tried it with d-limonene. Can anyone comment on when it would be okay to use polyethylene and when it should be avoided?

Thanks
