Anyone else experienced this?

I went to the pub for a few pints, nothing too heavy. I came back & felt like having a little trip. I sat back and toked on the machine. Hyperspace. Next thing I know i'm back in the bedroom, with my girlfriend looking very concerned and sick all over me and the bed. I felt amazing, as I always do afterwards, just in total awe.

My girlfriend said I'd screamed 3 times, the 3rd one loud enough to get her to come in. She'd found me basically paralysed on the bed, eyes rolling, sick shooting out of my mouth all over me and the bed while i was wailing / screaming.

I can't remember the details of the trip, only that I felt great afterwards(although incredibly embarrased and ashamed of the circumstances)....

So - has anyone heard of / experienced this??? I'm assuming it was the booze & I won't be repeating that combo, but I'd like some sort of confirmation?

Also - one other thing - today my lungs are absolutely f*cked - this seems to happen every time - I can't draw a deep breath without a big coughing fit & it's difficult to breathe... any advice on that one?

Yes, it's the alcohol. I've read about problems with this combination countless times. Don't do it.

The machine tends to get very hot. An alternative would be a water bong filled with steel mesh. You won't lose much spice.

Yea I've had people exhibit similar to this before, mostly making loud noises for a little bit and usually followed by throwing up and then slowly coming back not having an idea of what happened. However usually no alcohol was involved and they didn't throw up allot, was more of a dribble vomit (like babies do).

I have never personally seen anyone puke. DMT is the one thing that I feel so awesome on and I don't think I could ever puke. But I would probably also attribute that to the alcohol. It really is a nasty drug and the dmt does not like it in your body. I have attempted to smoke dmt after drinking a bit and luckily I did not have the same experience. I just found that doing dmt on alcohol was very empty and not that much fun. I only tried it once and now I will never do it again. I guess you live and learn though.

I enjoy DMT completely sober. No weed, no alcohol, nothing. That is when I get the best trips. I have found that DMT actually keeps me sober sometimes. I would rather do DMT later than smoke or drink.

If there were no other chemicals (incl alcohol) consumed I would have to say that the dosage was way too high for this person. Some people are ultra sensitive to DMT and a normal dose for you or me is a complete OD (not physically dangerous) for a sensitive person.

Maybe a lower dose would be to this perons likeing.

Edit: I see that alcohol was consumed. I usually avoid the combination like the plague. There's your problem, right there. Booze and a solid dose of DMT don't seem to go well together, although some enjoy it.

I have experienced the massive vomiting just last week. It was a part of the trip. The entities were reassuring me that it was a necessary part of the becoming that has been set in motion.
I mean it was the most intense experience of energy flowing through my body that I had ever experienced, and I have experienced many flows of transforming energy.

The time is coming nigh ladies and gents. We are a vangaurd of dimensional changes to come to all.

Does anyone else feel this?

Well, it is certainly an accepted part of traditional ayahuasca experiences. In fact, in my limited experience, purging can be one of the most rewarding and healing parts of the whole journey. So perhaps the keepers of the spice also like us to purge sometimes as part of their work..?

It usually the Caapi that induces vomiting, although I agree that the purge can be one of the most cleansing and wonderful aspects of the experience. The most I've gotten from Spice was a small amount of nausea.

Generally speaking, a couple beers don't seem to affect my excursions very much, but when incapacitated to actual drunkenness, the trips are generally more visceral and serious in tone. As TM commented, the spice is the "most idiosyncratic thing there is." It is going to be different every time.

actually drinking is SWIMs biggest problem when it comes to spice...they usually wont let SWIM in if hes been drinking too much..and vomiting is most certainly going to be there if you are really drunk..but usually after the first purge...you are clear for more launches withOUT the purge...they are just like...get this stuff out..

SWIM on friday evening after consuming a largish amount of alcohol (malt liquor) Inahled the required amount of DMT. During SWIM hyperspace adventure, he caught himself making uncharacteristic moans/grunts. I say uncharacteristic because SWIM usually makes no noise what so ever except for the occasional cough. I suspect the alcohol might have had something to do with.

Aside from the noise being made, the trip report was one of success.

In my experience alcohol is a big randomiser when it comes to DMT. I've never been sick or screamed, but more often than not I'll just see very bright lights and then have to wait for 20 minutes before I remember who I am, high dose psilocyin style.

It's a waste I think. No insight, no beauty. Just a buzz and some confusion.

One of my best trips ever was Spice after drinking a moderate amount of vodka. I guess i got brave (and lucky), but the trip was utterly amazing...like it is TBH all the time!Very happy

Its not something I've tried more than that time tho. Its got to be about respect imo.

Sorry to hear about the tough ride,

I do not have any experience worth mentioning, but . . . I cannot help but wonder about the quality/purity of your product . . .

Also, set and setting are important in my experience and if something is off (again, speaking for myself) vomiting is usually one of the first symptoms.

Finally, the alcohol . . .I hesitate to write this as it seems to judge, but here goes . . . ethanol is poison pure and simple. Give a strapping 180 pound man a single ounce of pure ethanol and he will wind up somewhere between SOL AND DOA. I have watched this simple and horrible molecule destroy my father's long-term memory. Every single time SWIM has consumed a psychedelic (inevitably in my past this was acid) with alcohol she got violently ill and there was a heavy, grim overlay to the entire trip . . .In my opinion this molecule is only good for the crudest of extractions and preservations (i.e. creation of tinctures).

Again, speaking for herself, SWIM believes that psychedelics are tools to reach the subconscious. Once she is in that space she becomes aware of realities that were veiled before. Here are some examples: She can no longer drink soda pop as it tastes like sickly sweet syrup water. . . She cannot drink milk as it tastes like liquid chalk, lactose . . . She perceives life energy coming off anything even remotely alive, but as soon as that changes (i.e. harvest a plant) she no longer perceives the life energy and she cannot drink alcohol because it is a poison to the human body . . .Psychedelics can throw light onto (in a very symbolic manner, such as vomiting when there was not enough physical stimulus or poisoning to logically provoke such a response) hidden and shadowed places in SWIM's mind . . .

Peace

A fair amount of people will vocalize involuntary wile in hyperspace. This should concern you if it is a issue of privacy you may want to trip some where else in a discrete responsible manner. Set your set and double check your setting and make sure all present understand the serious matter. If not they have no business there this is not a game or spectator sport. This is about intergeration ,understanding, forgiveness, coming together. inform your sitter this may occur and relax.

Dr S noted his experience with SCREAMING.
No worries old news needs to be confirmed and spread as truth.

A side effect of learning if you will.

Best wishes to you and yours friend

PS as far as booze honestly you know how much you can drink. You will not have a clear trip stumbling drunk but if you are immobile in bed with a woman(or fill in blanks for your choice) Some SMOOTHE BOOZE tastin real sweet loving that low dose combo.

I look at booze like rue seeds not every day its SICKENING but used properly it is what it is.

MVs booze for a new generation yeah its toxic so is life
