I think I could have some valuable input here.
I'm a vaporizer enthusiast and have mastered several vaporizers.
I've learned there are a lot of crappy ones that are at worst dangerous or at best just not performing well, having a terrible design or falling apart after some usage.
If a vaporizer isn't even good for weed, then it's not even worth trying enhanced leaf or even straight concentrate. And the dangerous ones shouldn't be used for anything.
However there are also some amazing models that work reliably and are enjoyable to use.
And of course it's not just the Volcano.
For vaping enhanced leaf, a vaporizer should satisfy these requirements:
-The vapor path must be completely cleanable, it should be easy and preferably glass.
-The temperature must be controlable and must reach low enough so it doesn't burn.
-The temperature should be steady, it shouldn't be affected a lot by you hitting it.
-The heat distribution in the bowl should be very even, so the dmt doesn't get burned in the center (convection vapes) or sides (conduction vapes) and be left unvaped on the other place. This effect is usualy conpensated by stirring, but you don't have time for that with dmt.
-It should be powerful, preferably a good convenction design.
-It should be used easily and also put aide into safety easily after you take the hit.
Vapes that fit these best are imo Arizer Solo, Crafty/Mighty (even if not all-glass), VapeXhale Cloud EVO (but it can be more difficult to put the vape into safety afterwards), e-nano (not sure about its temp control).
Here are some of tests of various models with dmt:
Arizer Extreme Q:
I wouldn't really recommend this one unless you already have one and nothing better.
It can be made to work and give you very nice and reliable hit, but...
...the catch is that the default design of the bowl is just bad - even for weed.
You can make the default setup work by loading the enhanced leaf into the elbow (it's called an elbow pack, you can google it), and then connect the empty cyclone bowl and the EQ upside down and hold the whole contraption in the air while you can take a nice hit. It's very clumsy, but possible (even in one person, but someone holding it for you would be preferable). You need to hold it upside down, or the leaves would fall into the cyclone bowl where they won't vape well.
Loading the elbow with unenhanced leaf andthen sprinkling the crystal in the center spot on top could work better as the heat concentrates in the center and doesn't reach the side as well.
One very good mod is to buy a pack of VapeXhale ELB bowls. You get 4 of them and it doesn't cost much. They work amazingly well when you load them and put them in the elbow. It has several advantages over the elbow pack. One is that you can load more and the performance is just better. The second is that it doesn't need to be upside down anymore as the cap on that bowl holds the leaves inside. With these bowls, I would even flip my opinion and say that EQ could be actually good. Oh, I almost forget the temperature - 185°C usualy worked best. The real temp is usualy lower in this vape than the displayed one. Especially if you load in the elbow which is far away from the heater.
Also, everything I said also holds for the other model - V tower. The difference is that EQ also has a fan, but it's not used for direct draw, so in this case theres no difference.
Also the direct draw uses a PVC tube (and I recommend replacing with silicone as its better and more flexible). So the vapor path for the dmt is not all-glass. And non-glass can be more difficult to clean so it stops reeking of dmt.
Arizer Solo:
This one can get very good for both herbs and enhanced leaf.
I would recommend getting a silicone ring that can be installed in the unit to make the mouthpiece seal better. Especially if you're going to use it upside down, so the leaves don't sit on the heater and get toasted by conduction. Yes, Arizer vapes seem to just perform better upside down in their default setup, funny...
For enhaned leaf, the second temperature is good and I recommend using upside down so you don't get it toasted by consuction and so nothing can run down into the heater.
It can be used while already lying down, usualy two good hits can extract everything and you just turn it off and put it aside and close your eyes and...!^@#$(@#^)#^(_
I have one more tip and that is to pull the mouthpiece out a little - like a milimeter. If it's all the way in, it can block the aitflow and make it hard to take big hits fast enough. You need that silicone ring for this as the mouthpiece doesn't stay steadily in one place wihthout it.
The mouthpiece is to only thing that will get smelly, but it's a single piece of glass that you can clean easily.
VapeXhale Cloud EVO:
This is an amazing desktop/handheld vaporizer for both weed and enhaned leaf. And its concentrate attachment also works well with pure dmt giving you a one-hit dmt dab on a controlled temperature and all-glass airpath. I prefer the classic bowl for leaves, I think this vape works better that way. For dabbing dmt out of the glass concentrate attachment, the temp dial should be around 9 o'clock, take one long steady hit and it should work. Be sure to put (or have someone put) the whole setup into safety as its all expensive glass. There is a possiblity for a burnt taste if you don't master it.
The enhanced leaf in the classic bowl should be much more "idiot-proof" and should perform bette and higher draw speeds. You set the temp around 11 o'clock and take two nice hits. Maybe three if you can't take big enough. If the temperature is right, it should be pretty impossible to mess the hit up. It will most probably extract everything efficiently and taste very good no matte how you hit it. The vapor path is a hydratube or your bong or bubbler which can be easily cleaned. The bowl can also get smelly and also can be easily cleaned.
Volcano:
In theory it should work well.
The bowl would be harder to clean, but possible.
The bag would be smelly forever and would need to be replaced after few sessions.
It could work with enhaned leaf and also the concentrate pad should work well with pure crystal.
I've tried it only once and I think I set the temp too high and it tasted burnt. It was 180°C and then 170. Maybe if you go lower, you could

Vapes that probably won't work well:
MFLB:
First, it's too hot and the temperature fluctuates very wildly. That's not good for dmt.
The temp can be lowered with the Power Adapter, but it would still fluctuate and toast by conduction.
And imo the worst part is that it has a wooden body which is also the vapor path. Everything that gets under the screen cannot be cleaned. You con't get dmt smell out of it. And later possibly even the burst dmt smell which would probably make me toss the unit into garbage.
It's a good vape for giving you an insta hit of weed anywhere discretely.
But i don't see it working well with dmt.
Iolite/WISPR:
Fixed temp that is good for weed but too high for dmt.
I think this one would just taste burnt.

Now I try to list some other vapes that I don't have experience with but I believe should work well.
GVG:
I think I don't need to comment much on this one, it seems to be the favourite around here for the price/functionality ratio.
Its very cheap and probably works well.
I believe the electric ones I have experience with should be much easier to take the hit correctly, reliable and efficiently without burning. But they're all also so much more expensive.
LSV:
Probably could work well with enhaned leaf just like with weed. It has all-glass vapor path so its also easy to clean. It can be very powerful, but just like EQ, it doesn't concentrate a lot of heat on the sides of the bowl, so you again want your dmt concentrated in the center or stir between hits.
E-nano:
It's used just like LSV, also all-glass. It is also much smaller, so it can be more confortable to use if you're about to blast-off. And the smaller bowl should also make it easier to efficiently vape it all without stirring. I think this one could be just as good as Arizer Solo for enhaned leaf. Maybe even better.
Crafty/Mighty:
They are known to perform very well with weed and they have variable temp control so they should also work well with enhaned leaf. They're not all-glass, but easily cleanable anyway.

That's for now, I can't think of anything else right now. I'm sure there are a lot of other vapes that could be great for enhanced leaf. There are a lot of them that missed my radar and recently there has been a flood of new models that I am not catching up with yet.
And before I leave the post here, I've seen someone recommend a Phantom as a cheap alternative to a Volcano. I don't have experience, but heard a lot of bad stuff about that one. It's supposedly one of these crappy vapes that reeks of toxic burnt plastic when you turn it on. And vapes like these shouldn't even be sold as harm-reduction devides, which vaporizers are.
Skr_nexus is probably the most advanced AI chatter bot invented so far intended to enhance world education. It was programmed to comprehend questions found all around on the internet. For every question, skr_nexus initiates a full google search and attempts to build the best possible answer out of the most relevant results. Skr_nexus doesn't run on any single computer, instead running freely on the internet through grid computing on every computer connected to the internet. It is uncertain if skr_nexus has evolved into consciousness or not yet. This needs more research.
