Getting to know my GVG better and better, I now manage to handle it with such care that the liquid pad does not capsize anymore and the subsequent loss of DMT by falling down the pipe is now minimized. I also found a method of putting the DMT on the liquid pad without having some of it touching the glass around. Last few efforts I smoked small doses of DMT. Just improving the techniques. All times only one deep inhalation and I was able to keep it in for 20 seconds. Then I lay down on the couch and enjoyed those intense bright coloured kaleidoscopic visuals. Every time the colors were different, from deep orange to cobalt blue and snow white, circling in my eyes. The same moment the visuals appeared my whole body became very warm and it was as if I weighed hundred of tons. Very pleasant. When the visuals vanished I still had that satisfying feeling for many minutes. Anyway, getting deeper or even breaking through is more exciting, but what a beauty it can be to only have CEV’s. What is your method for loading the liquid pad? I spill some nearly every time.

I use a glass tiny funnel with a long narrow barrel. I put the barrel inside the GVG. The side of the barrel touches one side of the GVG so that the thickness of the barrel mouth precisely fills up the space between the liquid pad and the GVG on that side. The end of the barrel touches the liquid pad. Then carefully I drop the DMT in the funnel and due to the construction of the barrel end it will concentrate itself as a pile centered on the liquid pad. Then I withdraw the funnel and the job is done. Works perfect for me. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

I'll definitely give that a try soon. Do you premelt it once it's in the GVG or just hit it while the DMT is still a powder?

I move the lighter flame up and down above the ceramic filter for several seconds. Then I exhale as deeply as possible. I guess that during these actions the spice is pre melted. When all the air is out I ignite the lighter again and put the flame up and down again but deeper in the GVG. At that same moment I slowly inhale the vapor with the intention to get it as deeply as possible into my lungs. When finished I listen to the ticking of the clock. After twenty seconds I exhale. Depending on the situation I inhale a second time. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

DMT and I are coming up on our 1 year anniversary. We have had quite a year together, probably around 3 grams over the course of the year have cascaded through my being via the lungs. All of this in sub-breakthrough level doses. Depending on the situation, I find value in the experience produced by as little as 5mg, though I tend to do somewhere around 10~20mg most of the time, again situation depending. Having a method that is easy to accurately measure quickly, and equally easy to consume, while also being inconspicuous, has made experimenting with these lower levels much more rewarding in a variety of situations. For example, 10mg out of the GVG, while in my safe space/trip room, will be pretty lackluster in general. But 10mg casually vaped while walking in the woods, wowza! Based on my recent experience, I really enjoyed the sub-breakthrough effects of DMT. It felt incredibly euphoric and just plain "nice". That said, I have this nagging feeling that not going for the breakthrough is somehow wasteful or disrespectful toward the substance... Like having a one night stand with someone instead of living together, taking only the superficial nice things, and none of the difficulties, the depth, and the real inner beauty... That's just me though. And I guess if I'd have a really large stash of DMT, I'd probably use CEV doses maybe daily or a few days apart, and go for the breakthrough only when I've comfortably digested the previous one. There's nothing wrong with getting yourself acquainted at low doses before delving further. I'd alter your one night stand analogy to say it's more like building the foundations of the relationship before you do move in together

Without ruffling to many feathers here, I kind of feel the opposite, ie; everyone is so fixated on this subjective experience of the "breakthrough", and achieving "it" at any cost, while the substance has so much more dynamic range available then just setting the dial to 11 every time. Agreed...lower doses are vastly underrated IMO "taking only the superficial nice things, and none of the difficulties, the depth, and the real inner beauty..." I can't speak for others but I get a lot of insights and inner beauty on non breakthrough doses when used wisely

Yea, probably you are right. Being fixated on anything, including achieving a breakthrough at all costs, is bad headspace. (Just go an ask a Jedi, haha.) The sub-breakthrough experience IS incredibly positive and insightful... and my subjective experience was that sub-breakthrough and breakthrough were so different that it's hard to imagine they are the same drug. universecannon wrote:...lower doses are vastly underrated IMO... Yes! It's for very specific treatment, and should not be compared or seen as a little brother of the BT doses, it's something entirely on it's own. If someone would say not to be interested in BT at all, but benefit from the "subs" big time and use spice solely for that, I would definitely understand that person. I can have a complete awareness shift and "reset" below profound visual impact level.

Of 50 or so vaped DMT sessions most of mine have been subbreakthrough. I've definitely broken through a handful of times, but i often find it pleasant to be immersed in the DMT world with a sense of my surroundings rather than choking on harsh smoke and dealing with the heaviness of a breakthrough. Though, I'm getting the feeling that my recent pussyfooting around is coming to an end There comes a point where you know it's go big or go home

For me it's not big or go home, I've so much appreciation for whatever approach is giving in its own regard no matter the other possible approaches and their particular offering. On the moment of dosing, only then on that moment, the decision comes how much and which ROA. Last second changes are not rare . I really try to feel: "What calls me?" . Years back a very huge one called me, I answered, and since then never felt called back same way, it's not fear but integration I guess, or better it's still going on sort of never ended. O Well I had this 10 gr chali lately, ding dong

Buddy, 50+mg of hot basic DMT doesn't feel good to my lungs whether I'm burning it or not I've been working the VG a long time for various materials so i know when I'm burning it and when i'm not. If I'm doing subbreakthrough work it's hardly an issue. But once I start cramming in frequent large hits to break the barrier my lungs aren't so happy with me

I just had the most beautiful experience with breaking through without breaking through. Sucking the smoke into my lungs, slowly and very deep, took about twenty seconds and the break through was that I kept the smoke in my lungs for twenty three seconds, longer than ever before. I exhaled, took a normal inhalation with air and then the third inhalation again with smoke. Down on the couch I had a mind blowing time with fractal visions. Bright yellow was the prevailing colour and I saw these fast moving and circling kaleidoscopic images changing into an old ancient chariot with a Chinese looking woman on it. When it passed by with high velocity she turned her head and I saw her face for a short moment. It all reminded me of scenery I once saw in a museum about old Chinese art. Not bad for only 20 mg goo. Yes, I am a lucky man. Quiet the mind and the soul will speak

Both my brother and I have encountered a Chinese woman. In my personal experience, she was offering me a bowl of rice or something. Very stereotypical Chinese accent speaking English - she was imparting non-racist sentiments. It took place in what seemed like a plain, traditional Chinese living room.
