So before I get to my process in doing this, my question is this: Is my process decent/ will it work for the typical person?
I took 11.2g of Chaliponga (Diplopterys Cabrerana) and 8g of Syrian Rue and ground them in a coffee grinder. I then took a empty bottle and put the materials in it and added white distilled vinegar to cover the top of the plant material. Then I added hot water to a point that I had a decent amount, but I could still shake vigorously. The 12oz bottle was then shook periodically throughout the coarse of 6 hours. When not being shook it was in a refrigerator. After the 6 hour period of periodic shaking the bottle was left in the fridge for at least another 10 hours ( may have been 12). After this, the liquid was then strained and saved in another bottle for later while the plant material was put into another pot of a vinegar and water solution 70%/30% that was already heated to just below boiling. The material was left in the solution, being stir-ed here and their for 30 mins. Then the liquid saved from before was added to the solution and stir-ed periodically until it had evaporated to a manageable amount. After this the solution with the plant material was put back into a bottle and into the fridge for another night, shaking it periodically (Sorry i'm saying that so much). From here I'm thinking about straining and doing another vinegar/water boil on the plant material left, then possibly combine the saved solution back into the boil pot like before, but this time reducing and adding water and some baking soda to reduce the acidity of it. After adding water a few times, strain the solution and discard the plant material. Maybe put the solution back into a pot and boil it down to a smaller size. Then adding some honey for sweetening??
How is this sounding so far? This is the only method I can do (meaning the CWE) right now as I cant leave anything cooking for long periods of time while i'm away. I was hoping that doing the double acid boil and CWE on the material would work pretty good. That and I double dosed the solution.
Thank You for your Time!! and I look forward to your responses!
