it's been a while since the last time i came here.even thought my account was deleted, as it happened over shroomery. Surprised hope you're all doing great.

so i'm curious on growing some beautiful plants, being reasonabily experienced with mushrooms this would be a new starting point to learn more on what i barely know.
was looking on spacebuckets to start with a little autoflowering green but am curious on what you guys think it would be easy for a beginner and interesting. it is so much fun to grow mushrooms from the scratch, watch the mycelium embrace the soil and grow into beautiful fruits.
what would you advise me to start in the plant realm?
anything goes in plants that expand altered states of consciousness. just keep in mind that i'm not so familiried with it, so easier teks would be appreciated.

thank you!

if you have a pond or aquarium , id suggest lophs.
if you only have dirt thats fine,
but, they are kinda sluggish that way.

Hey Anne,

I remember seeing some tutorials you have written about a Lophophora on Pereskiopsis hydro tek, but the links are mostly broken now. Could you point us to where this invaluable info can be found today? Pleased

(By the way, thanks in the name of the community for your awesome contributions.)

the original work was deleted by topia.
in spite of the fact it was one of their biggest grow threads ever.

shroomery has a XHTTL primer.

sacred cactus.org, has a semi complete updated version.

mycotek has a version behind a members wall.

different forums react differently to this breakthru tek.
some appreciate it, some go absolutely bonkers.
the whole phenom surrounding this tek, leaves me amazed and baffled.

the core of practitioners these days , seems to be around sacred cactus.org.
other forums seem to discourage the tek it seems.
my guess is nothing else competes, as seen in shroomerys "2014 great graft contest"

my violet teks ( shrooms) are here on nexus.
more will be added to that tek.
shroomery has a massive fleet of 'violet teks" and variations.

im building up a new set of teks for an even more advanced cactus hydro grow system,
but am debating the details of publishing.

i suggested these teks, cuz the OP wants simple.
twig in a cup...............with unrivaled grow speed.

looking back, im glad i published it all ( shrooms and cacti)
but im still unsure the community was ready for it.

im sorta surprised that no one else offered the OP any other suggestions,
i figured many would chime in on a wide variety of plant possibilities.
im just a 2 trick pony, lophs and shrooms.

For starters... as far as I can tell Caapi is more or less foolproof (me being a fool and all). Cacti are pretty straightforward too. Salvia divinorum is a bit finicky but a real trooper. If you can get it where you're at. Information to look for regarding any kind of plant might be type of soil, amount of light, temperature, container size, humidity. Plants generally want to grow, it's just a matter of providing the right conditions. While Anne's peyote Frankenstein army is super cool, it doesn't seem like a technique I would recommend to someone new to growing plants.

Well, given how I'm also a newb to gardening, I didn't want to put down any unproven ideas... I intend to try the Loph on Pereskiopsis, and am planning some Salvia aeroculture or NFT (from what I gather, the needs of Salvia are similar to those of most common kitchen herbs).

I'll make sure to post here when I have anything working...

By the way Anne, I guess the psychedelic communities are full of hypocritical and superstitious people... Just know that there are plenty of us who are honestly grateful for your efforts. Thanks for the heads up on the new locations. Are you going to continue your writeup on the sacred cactus forum?

As for publishing your teks, Erowid might provide storage without the political or personal strings attached that are so common on forums, or without censorship like blogging sites. They have several e-books available...

^ good one dreamer.
its a good read for anyone.

the OP does have alot of options.
its sorta amazing how the community has become capable of so many types of grows.

were gonna continue to add teks and updates.
over the last decade, the popularity of the teks has overshadowed the detractors.
