Hello to all.
I'm in my 22nd year of living in this current existence. I came across this forum trying to acquire knowledge regarding different topics.
In my psychoactive substances repertoire you can find the very obvious and popular Marijuana, as well as Nutmeg, LSD, LSA and different types of Mushrooms.
I'm a lucid dreamer, which started naturally for me in youth, and when I started getting into psychoactive substances, the feeling of being lucid engulfed all others I knew.
I began researching dreams and lucid dreams frantically, both scientifically and introspectively. This is what I am planning on doing after the trip I'm planning to New Zealand, starting in two weeks. (To become a dream researcher)
I mainly have questions regarding NZ types of mushrooms and how to differentiate from one type to another, to prevent myself from doing mistakes while exploring New Zealand. I figured this might be a good place.
I'm also a musician, mainly a drummer.
Feel free to ask me anything, mostly regarding lucid dreaming and all that's relevant to it, and if you have any more information regarding psychoactive substances in NZ and their dangers, please feel free to share.

Cheers!

Edit: Let me share some good shows and movies, maybe that will give away more about myself.

Movies:

Paprika
Coherence
A Scanner Darkly
Waking Life
Fear and loathing in las vegas
Another Earth
Primer
The Congress
The Man From Earth
Memento
Howl's Moving Castle

Birdman
and many more

Shows:

and many more.

Im also a lucid dreamer!!! Ive got a couple questions for you about dreaming.
Have you ever examined the objects/ matter in your dreams? as in, visually inspect and feel/touch the surface of walls, or furniture, plants etc.
When i look at things very closely while dreaming they are teaming with patterns and translucent colors and theres a thin layer type liquid veil/aura that surrounds everything. The objects feel totally normal/real in every way , but there trippy as shit to look at when you get up close, and if you back away a little bit they look totally normal and ordinary again.
Also, are you good at flying? or blasting off like a rocket?

May the force be with you.

Hey there. Thanks for replying.
When I am lucid in my dreams I perform tests that I design and document, along with my dreams and other data each night. (Cannabis usage, meditation, overall scales for self awareness and more)
One of the very first tests I designed was to create reality while perceiving it. If you think about it, we're doing it every second of our day, but the process is shrouded from us. It's automatic. In a dream I had, I had a DILD which means a dream induced lucid dream. This means I was able to deduce I was dreaming while inside the dream. (As opposed to a WILD which is a wake induced lucid dream, in which you transfer your consciousness into the dream state)
I immediately disregarded the dream plot, which was at a night time setting, and created a pathway for me that ended in a beach, noonish, sun shining bright. I created this infinite wall that stretched across the sandy beach and onto the water, and I simply walked by it, observing how intricate the patterns on the wall were. Imagine an acid trip, where you gaze at a wall and patterns and symbols and arcs form and shape in front of you. I was aware of the process of creating reality while perceiving it at the same time.
Touching wise, that's my main technique. I try and push my fingers through solid material, such as walls or wooden objects like furniture. Nothing feels as funny as pushing your finger through concrete walls, feeling them melt down like marshmallows.

Flying is extremely difficult contrary to popular belief. Dreams work in way of expectation and affirmation, and the seed of doubt is a powerful one in the dream world. One fracture of a thought involving second guessing your ability to take flight might put you in the ground. It never hurts though.
If you think about it, our most common "way of transportation" out of gravity's reach is by trying to swim. That seems to work for most people as well as I myself. I rarely blast off, but more like a hulk/naruto style leap into the air, then using your hands as wings to steer yourself and accelerate. Another funny technique is by driving. Technically, if you could look through metal, if you'd look on the road near your house you'll see people sitting in midair, going through space. It's easy to transfer that way of thinking into the dream world.
Feel free to ask me everything! Very happy

Im also an ocasional lucid dreamer ..just had one this morning from taking doses at bedtime..of .. melatonin ..vinpocetine..and 5htp..it was very vivid and life like and almost fooled me into seeing it as a real waking life experiance...

But this time..[ I engaged my abuility think criticly in the dream.[and relized i was dreaming!...and caught the dream cue about half way through the dream...and began levetating up in the air ..[flying]..in fromt of the dream carectors and then landed softly..[ on my dream feet].. and asked the dream carectors did you just see me flying?
One did not answer..but the other said yes with a smile....[DCs often act like stage props and dont answer or just make mumbling sounds] but eventialy one will answer corectly..

Then i told the dream carectors clearly...I flew because i know im in a dream...the excitement then woke me from my REM sleep i then made a note on my bedside recorder as i have done every morning for all my dreams for the past several years...

Both experiances DMT and Dreams are fantastic.. but there seems to be a certain purity in dreams as emotions can paint a very clear picture to the dreamer that cant easily be forgot especialy if the dream is the kind that alows cognant contact from deceiced relatives or visions of the past or future.
I have found that your mind can actualy become like a [seperate entity] or life form as it talks to you as you wonder across the ruins of a future like world feeling like the last person left on earth..
Some artists can put these fantastic land scapes on canvas like a famous spanish artist [i forgot his name now] would wake from his sleep 2 or 3 hours early and sit in a chair upright and return to light sleep state alowing lucid access to his dreams to later put on canvas..
Any drug experiance can be acheaved through skillfull dreaming!

I notice that DMT isn't on your repertoire, this should change at some point Cool

Pre-psychedelics I didn't remember any of my dreams once I reached my teenage years onwards.

Post-psychedelics I remember more of my dreams, but never lucid.

Possibly of interest to you, someone in mind experienced DMT a few weeks back. A few days after his first breakthrough experience he had an episode of sleep paralysis which frightened the hell out of him. In this 'dream' his kids were being harmed and he was powerless to stop it, it all sounded quite traumatic. I hope I don't experience anything like this, ever.

Thank you both for replying.

Starway6, indeed, lucid dreaming makes substances look rather pale. You are in every sense a God in an interactive infinite dimension of your own. That feeling is intense, and a skill that can be cultivated to high degrees. Regarding dream supplements, if you want, I can send you a link to a PDF of the book Advanced Lucid Dreaming: The Power of Supplements by Thomas Yuschak. He has done an extensive work regarding dream supplements. My personal favorite is a mix of Choline and Galantamine.

Jaffster, I am taking my time. I feel I am not ready to experience my ultimate mind-altering desires: Iboga and DMT. The fact that numerous uses with LSD and mushrooms made me experience HPPD to its fullest effect has told me to stop and slow down. Tripping becomes less sought after when you hallucinate all the time. I enjoy the type of mushrooms that do not offer any visual effects but you can feel them glowing inside your stomach and heart, pulsing with happiness more than other, visually impressive substances. Again, mushrooms seem less attractive when you're lucid on a constant basis. By the way, on a side note, tried to become lucid while high on mushrooms and acid. Didn't work. On the other side, I had dreams in which I took either acid or mushrooms and was tripping my balls off, the same way I would if I were awake.

If you are refering to me.. [about DMT not being my repertoire]..you must know that ive been using DMT for a few years ...
[look at the date i joined] .. and it appears that you are arelativly new member...

I like DMT and still vape it once and a while.. but am looking forward to an oral experiance some day..... so far I have found smoking can take me only .[so far].. having vaped it close to 100 times...
Most of it has been acacia and i have done LSD my favorite more than 40 times in the past when it was real LSD and loved it..
Ive also experianced many more phycoactive drugs too.. and i studied lucid dreaming for close to 8 years...
Im only making my point that skilled dreaming can also be very rewarding and it doesnt send your blood pressure soaring...like drugs can do..
I think with DMT the oral experiance will be more rewarding for me...
But lucid dreaming is also a favorite for me..when you experiance a good..[WILD]..
[wake inatiated lucid dream].. it will leave you leave you in a state of amazment!!Thumbs up

Yup!..Ive noticed in many of my dmt trips the visuals were awesome but what came with them was also a sense of utter lonliness as i no longer felt human soaring into DMT space..

Dont get me wrong DMT can be a beautyfull experiance but in an isolating lonley way as you leave behind your disasembled self you have temporarily stoped being human...as you soar through an often colorfull universe high speed rollercoaster ride...
I guess i have opened doors on LSD trips that have taken me to similar places as DMT with a posibility to even go farther...ever one is diferent though...im betting the oral DMT trip will be more rewarding for me...

Yes I agree ..lucid dreaming especialy an [OBE] out of body experiances while lucid alows TOTAL FREEDOM to do or experiance ANYTHING YOU WANt!!!... including any erotic experiance you desire!Twisted Evil ...flying over mountains or even into outer space is simple..

Once I remember flying superman style through 30 floors of a sky scraper starting from the basement upwards ...glass just stretched like rubber as i passed through it...concreet crumbled and gave way as i flew upward upward passing through ofices and eventualy the roof still shooting skyward into blue sky then quickly [the dream scene changed] finding myself standing on a golden beach near an ancient castle with the surf crashing on nearby rocks !

Once in a lucid quality...[ pre lucid dream] I swam in a swimming pool filled with golden energy
[not water] as other DCs swam nearby...

In another extreemly vivid NLD dream I stood on the earth as it began to swallow me up i sudenly found myself on a raft made energy.. as energy beings pulled me aboard saving me than taking me to the top floor of a nearby building explaning that i was now an energy being as they were we spent the early morning hours flying like butterflys under a starfilled sky...

Ive wandered into giant dream citys only getting lost in its glowing streets after asking many Dream carectors for help finding my way back most of them acted like dumb stage props but i always find one who always leads me in the right direction!.. walking across many dream streets in the pouring rain..
If the dream is lucid or just a extreemly vivid pre lucid dream what you can experiance and feel isnt like normal waking reality durring the day...
Its more like seeing it all as a child everything is brand new to you x 100 or higher!Thumbs up

These examples are only a few of what ive experianced in dreams the only thing is that everone cant have a lucid dream every night ..If im lucky . i only have 3 to 5 per month.. but always other NLD dreams..
It takes many years for budist monks to learn to acheave the ..[white light dream]...and they dont use supliments they drink green tea and meditate and some after many years learn to master dream control ...
I could go on about many other experiances during my dreams but not enough time now...
Remember in lucid and many non lucid dreams you maintain your personality and are very lucid and in control and can feel real joy and pure excitement as you explore a brand new dream scape world...

Semi/inconsistent Lucid Dreamer. I'm always slightly envious of those who seem to have such capacity for achieving that state. What is lucid dreaming like for you? Where are some of the most incredible places you've been?

Around the universe. I've had lucid dreams within dreams, I've conducted many introspective researches. I've seen kingdoms that draw from multiple references (Saw Hogwarts as King's Landing one time, was hilarious) and I've also seen what I call my home warp and change.
I met the dreamer of my dream (Or the dreamscape, the real god of your dream realm) or at least a representation of it at the time, I worked on my teleportation skills, closing my eyes while on a plain at night and opening them on an island in broad day light.
I designed a special pad to help me achieve things quicker. It has a mute button, a freeze button, a touchpad to drag and drop any musical instrument (or any other object for that matter) and more..
You name it! Very happy
