WARNING: Putting more spice than you need is do-able with this method. You can easily load 100mg and it will vaporize slowly, meaning if you're not alone then you can all have some of the same 'cup'. But be warned, if it feels blocked up as you inhale then STOP. The foil will have formed a seal at the bottom of the pipe and if you try to smoke it you WILL get all 100mg in one dose and this IS NOT PLEASANT.

I didn't want to hijack the other thread where this was asked, hopefully this will help people searching for this exact thing as I did when I first got the Arizer Solo.

I guess this applies to most electronic vaporizers which don't come with a metal pad or for which it is quite difficult to use one in. As we all know, putting freebase spice straight into the heating element will not only result in a poor smoking experience but it will also QUICKLY clog your vaporizer up.

You can use a small piece of tin foil to stop this from happening, if the foil is thicker/thinner than mine then you'll need to adjust your temperatures accordingly. With this method, it doesn't hit as quick as using a pipe or GVG but it does make the taste far smoother, especially good for those without leather lungs.

To start, make a bacon sandwich and cup of tea in the best mug you own:



Once consumed, you may begin. Tear off a small piece of tin foil, measure it against the base of the glass pipe:





Now fold it around the base of the pipe, be as neat as you can so that the edges are roughly even all the way around (not so easy with a square piece of foil).



Remove the cap and load up your spice of choice:



Now carefully push the edges inwards closing it into a bud, also crease the bottom upwards so that it doesn't bloke the air intake holes within the heating element:





Now place it into the heating plate, use the pipe to push it down. Make sure it doesn't turn over as you push it down.





And there it is. You need to take into account the layer of tin foil so heating the spice will take slightly longer and your temperatures will need to be higher, but this is a clean method of smoking in a vaprorizer, when you're done you can just remove the foil with a pair of tweezers. You'll have some residue left over, but it comes off with a cotton bud really easily.

In order to make it safer: prior to use, burn your aluminium paper with a lighter, on both sides. Since aluminium paper is covered with a thin layer of plastic, better burn it than vaporize and inhale toxic compounds.

What # setting do you personally use with this method? I've actually thought about trying this myself, glad to see it works my stems are always getting so loose with this vape anyways that I can't be bothered with it for Cannabis.

It starts to vaporise the spice on setting 2 (185c I think?) but it is incredibly slow to do so, unless you've put LOTS in and are sharing it with friends then go higher.

If I load in 50mg, I put it onto the 5th setting (200c I believe), give it 30 seconds to get to temperature and then smoke away. It should all be gone by the third lung-full (if you're able to get that far )



I've got the M101, so adjust accordingly.
