I took close to 150-200 g of Mimosa hostilitis reduced way down for future Mimosahuasca and its concentrated into three tincture bottles. so now I have these three tincture bottles in my refrigerator of highly concentrated mhrb tea. Is there anyway to do in STB on that liquid considering the concentration. Or is it likely that much of the spice was lost in the reduction. I just don't want to waste very powerful mhrb tea attempting to extract if I would end up losing any precious goods?

Any advice on this would be highly appreciated as I will not be able to use anyformofhuasca for a long time and I'm interested in retrieving the freebase.

It was my 10 year old doppelgänger from the 5th dimension.

My bad. I thought the image was plenty obscured.

I don't believe my avatar was the subject of discussion....

Any help would me much appreciated!? Anyone ever done this?

How would it be "very powerful" if the dmt was "lost"?

Think it through...it's gotta be one or the other.

Where would the DMT go?

My point is that I don't have as much experienced with reduced brews. There are varying opinions about how high you can simmer it without potentially losing alks. I've done more at stbs,a/bs than I feel comfortable saying. All have been high yield. I've also done many ayahuasca preps with all the classic plants. I do know that 1/10 of a shot glass of cappi reduction and the same amount of mhrb reduction hit me like an avalanche so therefore I assume the majority of the alks are still there but I'm not sure bc I'm normally working with at least 100 g of mhrb and that require 1500ml of basified water to push the alks out. Obviously I didn't base my oral reduction, nor do I remember exactly how much plant material was reduced. So please forgive my confusing statement and guide me through the possibility of basifying this small amount of liquid and extracting or advise me if I should just save in fridge for a long time and use orally. I'd prefer to have the FB alks right now honestly. Not sure how much base to use on such a highly reduced brew. The tea was acidified with vinegar and perhaps a pinch of citric acid during the several boils, filters and reduction. It's literally three standard brown tincture Bottles full of acidified reduction so probably only a couple hundred milliliters.

Thanks again guys! I've been a member her for close to 10 years and even though I've been on hiatus from the forums for a couple years doesn't mean that I have forgotten how much I love this community . I am lucky and grateful to be part of this!

I don't understand what the confusion is about. Just drop the base, eh?

DMT can take highly basic conditions, so pretend it's a festival and the whole crowd is begging for you to drop the base.

Give 'em what they want Thumbs up

Was your brew clean before reduction?

Assuming you have filtered well enough that any solids will re-dissolve if diluted you should be able to just add some water & basic solution then pull. More water can always be added if it is too thick & solvent won't easily separate. Thumbs up

I'm going to drop that base for sure!!! I don't have any ph strips at the moment so I had a little anxiety about doing the obvious without double checking with my friends at the nexus! Thank you kindly! I'll let you know what happens!

Also yes the brew was very very clean. Beautiful red mimosa tea color. Crystal clear!

pH strips...ahhhh, you folks and your newfangled technology. Razz

Whatever happened to base 'til black (and then maybe a smidge moar)?

Back in my day we didn't use no fancy pH strips Twisted Evil
