I am just wondering, to all of you people who have had experience with the spice, how it has affected your life? Has it had any significant positive, or negative changes that you have noticed? Has it given you a new appreciation of life? How long have these changes lasted? Has it isolated you from others after experiencing something so unique and strange? Thanks for the reply's -Love Of Life

Thanks for the reply's -Love Of Life Spice has made me a nicer person in general..It has stopped me from drinking in excess. It has not isolated me in the least...if anything it has opened me up to others. On my back and tumbling Down that hole and back again Rising up And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye.

Slidewinder was profoundly changed for the better. He will never be the same... Some folks just don't "get anything" out of the journey...I find that a little insane. The neurotransmitter reveals great mysteries to me about myself and the interconnected nature of all things conscious, which is universal. Yes it does indeed seem to make life a little more sacred, a little more "set-up", a little more perfect, a little more vivid. Also makes death look like a fun ride...can't wait to see what's on the other side. Or not see, for a change... :]
As for the isolation...meh...always been a hermit anyway.
we now have instant access into another interwoven realm filled with LIFE. work with the transmission wisely and maybe ceremoniously if you feel so inclined, explorers! GO GO GO + + +

More patient and more humble. Seems I can read people a lot better and almost always know when someone is lying to me.

I feel like I have only skimmed the surface of what could be, in regards to using dmt. However, in the 20 or so experiences I have had, there is lasting positive effects.
DMT essentially makes me want to be the best person I can possibly be all the time! It has made me realize how important it is to do good things in the world. It's not that I didn't already realize it, but after experiencing dmt I was actually motivated to take the necessary steps to work towards creating a positive impact in the world, as well as being more conscious about how my actions and emotions truly do affect my surroundings. I went from not giving a fuck about anything and having no hope for humanity to an extremely health conscious individual, turning vegetarian, taking up yoga and meditation, who now wants to work towards creating a sustainable planet.

Made SWIM happy at last! His full report is on Erowid. Nine months later, he now thinks that DMT was the most significant thing he did in his life... and he hasn't even smoked any in months ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) He has noticed that he has completely lost his taste for getting messed up too... he doesn't even want one beer anymore. He can drink one, but it has no positive effect, in fact he prefers sobriety now. Weird!! He still enjoys cactus and the DMT afterglow still feels nice. As for hermetisation, he is a little more sociable now because he is happier. Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! End tribal genocide: www.survival-international.org Quick petitions for meaningful change: www.avaaz.org/en/ End prohibition: www.leap.cc www.tdpf.org.uk And "Feeling Good" by David D.Burns MD is a very useful book.

I think it was life timing along with the introduction of DMT into his life, but SWIM has changed his life quite a bit of late. He is more concerned with being a good person than with actual business/financial success. He has also taken up yoga and has stopped abusing alcohol. I don't think DMT gets all the credit, but I don't think it hurt either.
I believe DMT may have helped to remind SWIM of some universal truths that he already knew, but may have forgotten as they were pushed further behind the vail of the ego...

Yes, this is quite how SWIM feels too. It undeniably helps him stay 'grounded', and helps him never lose sight of what truly matters to him - compassion, respect, love, and unity. He has also just barely skimmed the surface of what is out there. Can't wait for more and more exploration, experience, and knowledge throughout the rest of his life. Since I have started doing DMT my life has changed quite a bit and I can see a lot more change coming in the future. Like said above DMT keeps me grounded and centered. Since I have started doing DMT I have realized that financial things don't matter no where near as much as I thought it did. What really matters is your family and just being happy with your life.
I don't know if this was just coincidence, but I had been looking for some LSD for a few years. I did my extraction and went to try some out with my bro. I had a hit of dmt before but I never really got to experiment. 15 minutes after our first good session of doing it 3 or 4 times I checked my forum accounts and I had messages from 3 different people saying that they had some LSD if I wanted it. ATM I just felt like this was some crazy shit.
