I want the job,
to be the wizard of oz.
no doubt there is someone behind the controls
some being composing the melody of the experience.
What greater art form,
what greater role?
To be he whom contours,
into the mind of the seekers
that for which they have sought.
Into the hearts of the aspirant,
that for which they have fought.
The medium of mind,
a land beyond limitation,
yet utterly void of form until molded,
by the desire of the sojourner,
and the benevolence of the deity.
once the permission for take off has been granted,
the work of the wizard begins.
The valley dark and foreboding,
traversed by all that have come this far.
of jagged misconceptions
toothless monsters that screech in a manner,
that chills the very soul of man.
The stern slave master's henchman,
That would whip the flesh clean off,
any who dared to reach for her freedom
Greater than all theses obstacles,
are those that she carries with her.
Those she calls "herself".
That demon of deceipt
that dark angel of mis direction
Yes it is the work of the wizard,
to raise the light that shines forth from the heart
to illumine the mind with,
Glorious fields of of love,
with blades of grass that sing the love of the almighty,
through her bare feet.
As the very substance of the air around her,
embraces her with sentience and compassion.
"Know that you are my child"
"You are to whom all is given"
"Claim thy birthright,
omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience"
"Feel this, your eternal being"
The ecstasy is shattering,
The power overwhelming.
Then gently does the wizard,
return our heroin home,
back to the valley.
But now,
having glimpsed her destiny,,
she is no longer a slave.
The toothless monsters are now yelping puppy dogs,
Where there was darkness,
is now bathed in the limitless light.
She is free because she KNOWS.
Yeah, I want to be,
the Wizard of Oz.
