Wink

I have used essence C with good results. Am i right in thinking that essence F is a little heavier than C and evaporates a little slower? Also C contains less aromatics and is easier to freeze precipitate but the heavier naphtha F pulls more dmt?

Essences hydrocarbures

Very happy

Yep, essence C is better for extraction (my choice) but it still works well with essence F

Thanks for the response DansMaTete. I might actually give essence F a try on my next extraction just for a comparison. It seems to be more widely available than C. I have found F in most bricolage departments whereas i usually only find C in the larger hypermarches and places like bricodepot.

Cool info guys !

I'll try out essence F on my next extraction, and if i ever come around essence C i'll give it shot too, i have never heard of it before today.

Concerning the "pull" translation, honestly, i don't think "extrait" or "tirage" do it much justice.

Peace !

Would be interested to know the different extraction ratio between F and C, if someone gives both a try on a same batch.
I confirm, essence F is quite slow to evaporate and essence C works well to freeze precipitate and to re-X.

I edited my last post. I made a mistake. Essence C is my favorite choice, since it contains far less aromatics compounds than essence F. Sorry!
Would still be interested if someone compares their ability to pull DMT!
