Hello!

I am coming here after a long break from psychedelics. I am planning to take something with the intention of healing myself after suffering through some fairly traumatic events, and was hoping that someone could give me some advice on what substances may be of use. Without going in to too much detail, I suffer due to repressed emotions surrounding the death of someone close to me and I think I need some "emotional vomiting". This happened a few years ago, but I still have not come to terms with it. I sincerely want to be healed so that I can be of more benefit to humanity.

I have tried many psychedelics including DMT in the past but, if I'm honest, I didn't really do it for any other reason that to have fun and for the thrill. I'd prefer to take a different approach this time.

Hoping to learn and to share knowledge!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hey Dzog,

welcome to the nexus.

Related to your question have mushrooms been one of my greatest teacher so far, but one has to consider, that the "healing" only comes from within oneself due to confrontation with and acceptance of what there is.

Regardless of what plant or mushroom one takes, set & setting might play an important role. Beside of that, the substances may confront oneself with ones traumatic experiences from the past but one has to work through it all alone, nothing is going to take the load out of ones hands.

Mushrooms are great for healing, so is ayahuasca. The later is easy to acquire online.
DMT has been my greatest healer by far. 3g Syrian Rue and some vaped homemade orange DMT goo: the most beautiful experience of my life. It's like all the negativity from my past was seen, understood and destroyed at once. Incredible.

The experience was very similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-TlYLGYrA8

Thank you both for the replies. It's as if I need something to open a valve to turn my emotions back on. The problem with blocking out negative emotions/feelings is that you can't do it without simultaneously blocking out the positive ones. I have built up a hard shell as a defense mechanism over the years that I need to soften!

Anyway, this is obviously not a therapy forum so I'll stop complaining now! I have some extraction/chemistry related experiments that I'd like to share in the near future, hopefully I have access to post in the relevant forum by then.

Thank you for the welcome, it's good to be here.

Thanks
Dzog Very happy
