Is this mimosa hostilis, Have not been told it is or is not. I'm going by pictures of the mimosa hostilis this looks damm similar to it!

looks like jacaranda to me


MH has fuzz and thorns on its stems and the leaflets are no where near as big, this tree has a smooth trunk

Ahh i believe i have one of those with thorns and stems on it

Perhaps this is mimosa hostilis?

Do you live in a region in which they naturally occur? If not, it is not very likely that you are going to find it by chance.
