Wow someone has my same avatar. That could be confusing.

Lol... I thought your comment was from myself for a second and thought "I dont remember writing that" lol...

I love Chavin - very cool temple. Went 2 years ago and drank San Pedro in the ruins with a local guide named Martin (very cool guy - he grew up in the temple itself). Easily one of my favorite temples in Peru.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Please tell me more about this combination. I have been wondering about it for a while....what kind of ratios are you looking at? Do you ever combine amanita tea/ambrosia with psilocybe tea in one brew, or must one rather preload with the amanita before ingesting the psilocybe (given the longer time of onset and longer duration of action of the amanita?)

First couple times I tried this it was with smoked amanitas... I would smoke a bunch and then eat 1-2 grams of mushrooms and had really great experiences. I dont really like smoking the amanitas anymore so know I usually drink the Amanita in tea and eat a mushroom chocolate a couple hours in if I want more strength.

I think you could put the psilocybin mushrooms in the same tea, but I dont know that it would work well in the ambrosia.... Either way - I kinda like starting with amanita personally.

I work slow with amanita to test the strength of the mushroom. I think this is the best route to go in most cases since strength can vary so much and it takes so long to kick in... Dont want to put myself in a coma or something (amanitas can put you into a coma like sleep if you eat too many). So I will make amanita tea and start with about half. I wait 90min-2hr then usually drink the second half. Lets me test things out strength wise.

Depending on how strong the amanita tea was if I want some more strength/force, then I will eat some mushrooms. I usually keep mine in chocolate so that they are easy to bring with me places and pleasant to eat. 1 gram is usually plenty and I dont do more then 2 when mixed with amanita tea - they potentiate each other a bit and this is always a powerful combo for me.

I usually feel like Amanita leads the experience while the psilocybin supports it and adds more force... The personality seems more amanita like to me though.

How long, do you find, is best to wait between administration of each?

Is the high-dose resulting in the coma-like sleep something that the ambrosia exhibits as well, or are that and the wine method way around that "issue"?

Do you think raising the dose of psilocybe mushrooms taken in conjunction with the amanita could possibly counteract/balance out the coma-like sleep phenomenon and allow the patient to be in deeper territory with the amanita, while maintaining consciousness?

I dont think you really need to wait a certain amount of time, I just like testing out the strength of the amanita first. Overdoing these things isnt really fun - could be pretty scary. The combo is surprisingly powerful and I dont think you need a ton of either personally....

You could do them at the same time if you like. I usually like to drink Amanita tea and wait about 2 hours to get an idea of strength and then I will decide if I want more amanita, psilocybin, or both....

Ambrosia and wine are gentler and less strong actually. I am sure they could still put you in the coma sleep if you drank enough.

Going that deep into Amanita territory would be overkill. I dont think psilocybin would save you from the coma sleep at all, but even if it did, trying to use those levels of amanita would not be smart or fun. Sounds very unsafe.

I say try out this combo and see how powerful it is.... It might surprise you. You dont need much of either. I would say a light dose of each is perfect - a light dose of each turns into a really strong combo and will take you plenty deep. I've had animals start talking to me and cedar trees turn into giant brugmansia flowers that talked to me... Seen dead family members and got sucked into portals in the sky with this combo. It is a serious combo.

BTW - only amanita related death in the last century was a man who went into the coma like sleep then froze to death outside. It is a real deep sleep.

What's a good starting amanita dose to try? Do you lower this dose when combining it with psilocybes?
