Hello everyone!

As said i did a ACRB TEK last week + a re-X.

I ended up with 2% yield out of 50 gram MHRB, the DMT has a yellow colour to it.

After making some DMT i wanted to try some, but thats where it went all wrong.

'The smell of the DMT is definitely the same as what i earlier had'

I loaded my glass pipe, warmed it up with my lighter and slowely inhaled some DMT and noticed there was a light body high, i then noticed it was surely not as strong as the stuff i earlier smoked from another person.

The DMT 'which i extracted myself' putted in the glass pipe and slowely heated went black in a very short time, didn't turned into some kind of liquid 'which is the thing i was used to before i smoked my own extracted DMT'.

So long story short: it's more like a powder/doesn't turn into some kind of liquid after warming and wasn't very strong either, at least not as strong as i was used to.

What did i do wrong?

I hope there is anyone who can help me out!

Well sounds like you don't have spice.

What was your Tek? please describe everything that you did.

Can't help if we don't know what you did.

One thing is absolutely for sure though, and that is the fact that DMT never, ever, ever ever turns black.

In other words:

Looks like spice to me... doesn't look like it's been recrystallised though, looks kinda impure to me. If it smells like dmt and you followed the tek *exactly* as it was written, chances are it is dmt. What solvent did you use ? That looks like it's got some dirty darker bits in there which may be a result of your solvent.

For recrystalization i used some naphta, is that the right stuff to use?

well naphtha is a broad term, what brand ? you should always really do a quick test on it, simply evaporate some on some glass and see if it leaves a residue. If it does leave a residue, it's not suitable. Try doing it now with your solvent. If it is clean, then you can do another recrystallization and it should come out cleaner. If it leaves a definite residue, then do a mini A/B and find a cleaner solvent to use for that.

I used some zippo lighter fluid as naphta and rescrystalized two times, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I followed the re-x from the TEK by the way

I am just a beginner and i hope that there is an to easy way to rescrystalize the dmt so it's smokeable.

When doing a re-x, does all of that dissolve into the naphtha?


Are you sure the salt you are using is pure salt? (not iodized)

Maybe re check your work and/or the product you are starting with. If you are indeed following the tek to a T then you should be ending up with a useable product.

While doing a re-x everything dissolves in the heated naptha.

I did a re-x three times by now, but there is no residue anymore, nothing drops to the bottom and seperates.

The salt is good, i got sure it doesn't contain any iodized material in it.

I started with a mini A/B by now, i really dont know any other options in order to get some nice white crystals.

I followed the TEK very precise and its kinda unmotivating when you dont get good results, but i guess i still have to learn alot on how to get nice white dmt crystals.

Any help is very much apreciated!

If you performed the tek as written, perhaps you weren't working with ACRB or MHRB. It's not clear what you thought it was since you mention both. Maybe the tek worked fine, pulling something from something. But not DMT?

That could be a dangerous issue of misrepresentation. What if what you pulled was dangerous and didn't know. It does look like "dirty" spice.

Did your re-x ever whiten?

My vote is you had bad source material.

There is no guarantee of getting white crystals/ DMT crystals from ACRB it also contains NMT. If its turning black it must be some impurity , possibly lye or maybe even plant material. Either way it needs a cleanup, NMT isnt very soluble in room temperature naptha try doing a mini a/b that would provide a predominantly DMT mix if there is any in there.
Do you feel a light body high similar to with DMT then a light-ness followed by a lingering calm anti-depressant effect when music sounds great but only slight visual change. Thats what NMT feels like.

I have some very good news

Some of you did mentioned a mini a/b cleanup, so i did a mini a/b and finally i got some good quality/smokeable crystals!

I got 550mg out of 50 gram mhrb, which isn't too much, although i am pretty happy with the result of the mini a/b.

A cleanup with naphta just didn't do the trick, so next time it's a mini a/b right away

@DreamTripper - it felt like NMT definitely, every detail you mentioned matches my earlier experience
