I have a kratom/ethanol mixture, will I need teflon tubing or will rubber tubing be safe when distilling? Not sure if the ethanol will collect anything bad off the rubber.

ethanol and rubber should be fine, its nonpolar solvents that should be avoided. use tygon tubing. "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." ~ hassan i sabbah "Experiments are the only means of attaining knowledge at our disposal. The rest is poetry, imagination." -Max Planck

TygonExcerpt: Quote:Applications: Fuels and industrial lubricants—gasoline, kerosene, heating oils, cutting compounds, and glycol-based coolants. Characteristics: Resists most hydrocarbons, embrittlement, and swelling. Ozone- and UV-resistant; low extractability. Translucent yellow.
Specially formulated to transport hydrocarbons, petroleum products, and distillates. Suitable for gasoline, kerosene, heating oils, cutting fluids, and glycol-based coolants. Minimum extractability. Low gas permeability. High dielectric constant.
Thermoplastic. PVC-based material with plasticizer. Firm (stiff) material. Transparent and yellow in color.
Don’t use with strong acids and alkalies, and sterilization is not recommended So flush them with water after some low or high pH did get trough them.
